Une excursion d’une journée aux pyramides de Gizeh Dhashur et Sakkara est une journée conçue pour explorer l’évolution de la construction des pyramides. Vous vous arrêterez aux pyramides de Gizeh, l’une des merveilles du monde antique, pour admirer ces structures gigantesques qui ont servi de tombeaux aux pharaons. Vous verrez les trois pyramides des rois Cheops, Chephren et Mykeronis et le Sphinx.
Dashur n’est pas aussi populaire parmi les touristes que, par exemple, Gizeh avec ses grandes pyramides. Néanmoins, il y a quelque chose à voir. Dashur est situé à environ 30 km du Caire et par conséquent, si vous avez une excursion dans la capitale égyptienne, cela vaut la peine de s'arrêter ici. Dashur est célèbre pour ses pyramides construites sous le règne du grand pharaon Snofru. A propos, les scientifiques considèrent ces structures comme les premières tombes de l'histoire du roi, érigées selon de nouveaux types de structures. Une autre attraction à Dahshur est la Bent Pyramid, qui tire son nom de sa forme irrégulière. Lors de sa construction, les constructeurs ont, pour une raison quelconque, modifié l’angle des faces. Les Égyptiens ont peut-être simplement commis une erreur, mais les historiens attribuent ce mouvement de construction au souci des architectes quant à la solidité et à la durabilité de la pyramide. On peut dire que l’essentiel, c’est la différence «révolutionnaire» entre la pyramide cassée de Dashur et les autres structures égyptiennes, en ce sens qu’elle a deux entrées: l’entrée «traditionnelle» du nord et presque pas celle du sud.
Le pharaon Djoser de la IIIème dynastie fut le premier pharaon égyptien à construire une tombe à Saqqarah. Avant lui, tous les pharaons ont été enterrés dans la ville d'Abydos. Il a érigé la première pyramide en Egypte, qui a été préservée ici à ce jour. C'est la pyramide à degrés de Joser qui constitue la principale attraction locale.

Great tour with Martina to the pyramids and GEM
We booked all our travel and guides through Deluxe travel. We did a full itinerary and Hassan was continuously on standby if we wanted to change or add something to our program. All drivers were on time and very enthousiastic guides in Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor and Aswan. Would highly recommend if you want a no hassle trip in Egypt to see all the sites.
We waited for the driver for 40 minutes, but he didn't show up. There was no response on WhatsApp. Then they called (60 minutes into the tour) and said he was waiting for us. Haha.

Highly recommend this tour. Seeing the different styles of pyramids and learning about the evolution and culture was incredible. We had the option to go into some tombs and pyramids as well. Having a guide and driver made things so much easier. Our guide, Mo, was knowledgeable, personable, and fun - we definitely enjoyed our adventure with him.

I had received mixed reviews about going on this particular tour. We heard there wasn't much to see but in reality, I wished we had started with this one. It would have made the rest of our Egypt tour make more sense. And we have been everywhere. Zizou was very knowledgeable and through in his explanations. Very glad we went. I would sign up with him again if I return.
Everything to do with this tour was faultless - including initial communication, on the day arrangements and timing. Our driver Omar was excellent and Zizou, our brilliant guide, was endlessly fascinating (he is a qualified Egyptologist with a masters degree in hieroglyphics!). He brought the history of the Old Kingdom alive for us through his explanations and storytelling. If you are lucky enough to get Zizou as your guide you will not be disappointed.
We had an amazing day exploring the pyramids with Hosni our guide. Our itinerary was flexible and Hosni was able to plan a tour that covered all the sites we wanted to see. Our day was enriched by our guide’s historical knowledge and ability to explain past events. A delicious lunch was included. Mohammed our driver was excellent too.
Zizou was the perfect guide for our first visit to Egypt. His extensive knowledge of the history, language and legends made the pyramids and temples come to life. We had a wonderful time and are already planning to come back and learn more.
