Our guide was an hour late snd very disorganized. After ten people were picked up at various locations, . he had to stop by his bosses house to pick up the microphone he needed for the tour. After that, the tour started. He was a. ice enough guy., and actually very informative s out the area. When he told all of his personal stories the people in the.van, tuned out. The tour was fine but the tour guide needs to be on time, organized and stick to the tour topics.
I was scheduled to be picked up at my hotel, but the tour van arrived 45 minutes late. I completely understand that delays can happen and that some circumstances are beyond anyone's control. However, what was most disappointing was the complete lack of communication. There was no call, text, or update to let us know the driver was running behind, and no explanation or apology was offered upon arrival. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve once the tour began. The driver's commentary was surprisingly inappropriate for much of the trip and often had little to do with the scenery, local history, wildlife, or facts about Alaska. I had expected an informative and engaging tour, but instead the commentary detracted from the experience. With better communication and more professional, relevant narration, this could have been a much more enjoyable tour.

had an excellent time on this adventure, I believe the price was very reasonable for what you experience, our guide Tucker went above and beyond to give everyone on the tour a great day of fun and learning about the area and all it offers,would highly recommend the tour and having Tucker as your tour guide
The tour guide was very nice and friendly. Answered all the questions I had. This is a great tour for the first-time visitor.
Overall, the trip was enjoyable. Our guide was not as entertaining as some other tours we've been in, but not bad. The glacier cruise was very interesting and got really close to the glacier. The crew of the boat was very good and kept things entertaining. The wildlife center was very good as well. We had two hours there and enjoyed seeing all of the animals. Dress is cold weather layers for the glacier cruise. It gets windy and cold as the wind comes off of the glacier, and there is always a chance of rain.
Excellent day to see the Portage glacier and the Wildlife Conservation center. We got picked up and dropped off at our hotel which was appreciated. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Saw a moose with her 2 babies at one of our stops. Overall a great day and nice experience with the company. I would recommend.
This was a very nice tour. One problem, we did not get to do the lake cruise. The Coast Guard closed the cruise due to a surprise inspection. This was no fault of the tour company. We were refunded the cost of the lake cruise. Our guide was very nice. I like that I could be picked up and let off at our hotel.
The tour was excellent! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a long drive to and from the portage glacier, I was glad I had a water bottle and my own snacks. Boat tour was great. Loved the wildlife rescue and our tour guide drove us to different areas to see the animals, we were thankful for that as it would have been a lot of walking to the different enclosures.
Awesome trip...great scenery, wonderful tour guide. An all day wonderful experience of Alaska. Saw Glaciers and all the animals at the Wildlife refuge.
The portage glacier tour was amazing. After the portage glacier, we went to wild life conservation. It was nice to see all the wild animals. Our tour guide Rina was great and helpful. She gave detail information and made the tour lively. Answered our questions. Took lot of family pictures. I give Rina 6/5.
