Le Q Train est un restaurant ferroviaire primé qui circule le long de l'historique Bellarine Railway entre Drysdale et Queenscliff. Nous invitons les habitants et les visiteurs à monter à bord de nos calèches restaurées et à profiter d’un voyage culinaire à travers la péninsule Bellarine. Dans nos Compartiments de restauration privés de première classe, vous apprécierez cinq plats de produits locaux, chacun parfaitement accompagné d'un vin, d'une bière ou d'un mocktail locaux. Le train Q Train est un restaurant qui sillonne le chemin de fer historique Bellarine entre Drysdale et Queenscliff. Le train part généralement de la gare de Drysdale et retourne à celle-ci, à seulement 15 minutes de route de Geelong. Toutefois, sur certains services, le train Q part et retourne à la gare de Queenscliff. L'Australie n'avait encore jamais vu une ligne de chemin de fer patrimoniale utilisée pour présenter la nourriture, le vin, la bière et le cidre locaux. Nous invitons les habitants et les visiteurs à monter à bord de nos voitures restaurées et à profiter d’un voyage gastronomique sans pareil. Nous servons des produits locaux à chaque voyage dans le confort de nos voitures-restaurants rénovées; offrant à chaque client un délicieux voyage en train et une vue unique sur Swan Bay et la Bellarine. Me and my fiancé enjoyed today — absolutely beautiful experience. The food was a 10/10 and Shalia our waitress was an absolute delight. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special day out ❤️
An amazing experience. Wonderful food and service throughout. The menu was varied and well presented. The introductory comments on each round of drinks and food course from the waitress added to the experience. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience with delicious dishes. All staff, although young, were very accommodating, knowledgeable of all the dishes & beverages & most friendly. We had a hiccup with being seated in Q-class instead of Private carriage class & the matter was dealt with promptly. A+++ for service & definitely recommend the experience

Been thinking about doing the Q train for a while. Checked, they had private dining available when we were visiting the area so booked it. First off - staff and service were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and around if you had a request. Thanks to Daniel, Andrew and the rest of the team. Food was very good to excellent, wine pairing worked well and timings / portion sizes were just right. Will be back to try this again when the summer menu lands.

The Q Train first class was lovely. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with lunch on the train. The food was delicious (5 courses) and well prepared, however with the spring basket which included pate, you didn’t get enough bread. We had alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks which were paired with each dish but was lovely that you could swap them if preferred. I swapped a red wine with white wine as a personal preference. The journey from Drysdale to Queenscliffe is pleasant. The train moves quite slowly so you can enjoy your food and drink. The team were wonderful, ensuring your journey was a good experience but a couple of greeters/servers were inexperienced, still learning the art of providing first class customer service. This didn’t impact our experience as we can appreciate they are still learning. They were polite and well presented which was good to see. Knowledge about the menu and background of each dish/the history of local suppliers etc will come in time. Overall, I’d recommend the first class experience for a special occasion.

We had a wonderful day out on the Q Train. The train runs through a beautiful part of Victoria and we could’ve easily turned this into a weekend away. Experience is amazing, from the train itself to the food, to the staff. We were greeted by the friendly staff at the entrance and were treated to a drink of choice before getting onto the train. We are too lovely ladies looking after us, Georgia and Shaz. They were wonderfully attentive and made us feel really special. The food is wonderful with the five course meal and it was also great to be able to choose between a beer wine and mocktail with each serving. We had the cabin to ourselves. However, next time we would love to possibly do the same journey in the dining carriage with friends. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience.

We took the trip on a cool but sunny day. Our minds were blown when we were told the history of the train. My dining companion worked on the train when it was the Sunlander. The peaceful journey was the perfect way to enjoy the degustation menu with matching wines. Our waiter Vanessa Is knowledgeable about the menu and wines which are mainly sourced from the region. Highly recommend this trip
Unfortunately I find it impossible to give the new degustation a high score. I really feel they are trying to go very “with it”. I am sorry they don’t continue with nice normal, tasty dishes.
