What an experience! Me and my niece absolutely love every second of our session. We booked a beginner course as neither of us had ever surfed before. Wetsuits & boards were provided and the surf instructor was superb. Jake was really nice, explain each step so it was easy to follow. We both managed to stand up a good number of times and the photos taken were fantastic. 1000% recommendation

Wonderful body board experience as beginner with E. All staff helpful from booking to sizing wetsuit etc. Great instructor making me feel safe and was marvellously encouraging and great fun to chat with between waves. Would definitely go back to Quiksilver if back in Newquay. Was easy to park, short walk to beach,

I did a private surf lesson having not given surfing a go for over 20 years. I was a bit nervous but Eoin was fantastic, he went at my pace and led me in some yoga first to get the most out of the session! We had a really great chat in the surf too, which made it even more fun. I felt totally safe ( even though the sea was quite rough) and in the hands of a professional who loves his job. Would highly recommend!

We booked a 2-hour surf lesson for our 10-year-old son directly with the surf school at the Esplanade Hotel in Newquay. As hotel guests, we also received an extra 10% discount, which was a nice bonus. We've stayed at the hotel several times and have always noticed how busy the surf school is and how much fun everyone seems to be having, so we were keen to give it a try. We booked the lesson the day before and attended the 8am session. There were only four people in the group, which made for a great experience. Our instructor, Jake, was fantastic. He immediately made everyone feel comfortable and was brilliant with both the children and adults. He was fun, encouraging, and genuinely enthusiastic throughout the lesson. Every time someone managed to stand up on their board, he celebrated with them, which really helped build confidence and made the experience even more enjoyable. After the lesson, there were changing facilities and hot showers available, which were very welcome after a chilly morning in the sea. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Great instruction, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent facilities. We would definitely recommend the surf school and wouldn't hesitate to book again on our next visit to Newquay.

Wow, how much fun! My daughter has wanted to try surfing for so long has always been anxious. We went into the school and asked some questions and booked online a few days later. We had Ollie as our teacher, he was great. Very patient and great with the kids and adults in the group, a mix of experienced and us novices. My daughter absolutely loved it and can't wait to visit again for another session. Thank you

What a great team! Despite the storm damaged shop front these guys are awesome. Issac helped the kids get ready and their amazing instructor Eoin was mega, making sure they both caught loads of waves and had a wicked session in the water. Such a small walk down to the water (unlike other surf schools) and great changing facilities too. Also the photos were phenomenal!!

Booked for my Son and honestly he had an amazing time, the instructors were friendly and supportive I would recommend this to anyone
