Description

I don't say this lightly, truly the single best experience I've ever had. Uri is one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met, whose passion is complemented by his kindness.
Uri, Was a tremendous guide and leader for our group. We are already planning our next Holy Land trips. Uri gave us insights into the sites we visited and so much more.
Uri was simply amazing. He is superbly knowledgeable of Israeli history and culture, but yet totally engaging. He’s proud of his country and his Jewish heritage but also deeply respectful of Christianity. Our group felt safe with him in charge. He is a great ambassador for his country and, if I were ever able to return, would want him as my guide.
Thank you so much Jeff! much appreciated
Someone in my group of 27 referred to Uri as a walking Google and he isn’t wrong. Uri knows the history, geography and Biblical relationships to places, events and things. I was privileged to have a 2 week walk through history with a passionate expert in Israel and he’s funny to boot. Uri’s style is relaxed, information packed and relevant. I literally walked through Christian history in very impactful and meaningful ways. Our group is Christian and we selected a Jewish guide versus a Christian and I’m so glad we did. Uri was open to helping us understand the differences in our 2 faiths in a beautiful way. Uri handled all access to sites, showing us places many don’t see, fast tracking us in/out of sites and even fast tracking our processing in the airport (wow). Uri officially became a member of our family. You would be crazy not to hire Uri.
Thank you so much for the kind words!
I spent nearly a week on tours led by Uri. I have many friends who have been to Israel and come back raving about their guide. They all say their guide was the best. And I have been there several times myself with different guides, and almost all were fantastic. Without diminishing my own prior experiences nor friends' experiences, here's what I can say unequivocally: Uri actually is THE best. Period. Biggest fish in big pond of skilled and knowledgeable guides. Why do I say this? He is an educator. His tours are multi-disciplinary. They weave history (ancient and modern); politics; religion (different Jewish sects as well as Christianity, Islam, Druze, etc.); culture; nature; literature; psychology; music; food. He can tailor a message to restless kids, knowledge-thirsty adults, and numerous other demographics somehow all at the same time. His English is flawless. He is pure Israeli, and yet having spent significant time abroad -- including some during his formative years -- he understands people from other cultures. He could answer just about every question I threw at him (and there were many) -- whether questions of what, why, when, how. And in the *rare* instance where he didn't know, he was not afraid to admit it, and might look into it further and get back to me. There were no canned presentations or answers with Uri. He could pivot on a dime (or shekel) if circumstances necessitated a sudden change of itinerary, if an area of a site was too crowded in the moment, etc. Essentially, he is a Renaissance Man. And yet, without arrogance, but with a sense of humor. Oh, and by the way, this week of touring was over 1-1/2 years ago (I was forced to choose from a drop-down of limited dates, but it actually was December 2019). I still remember it that vividly and still am stirred by the experience. In sum, I could not endorse Uri any more highly.
Uri Goldflam, having you as a tour guide was amazing! My wife and I agree that you are a walking, talking Wikipedia of knowledge on Israel, and it's history, as well as the bible and the different religions, you made the trip so enjoyable and informative! The tour was fantastic, but 9 days was just not enough. We are making plans to return and live in Israel for awhile and to restudy the bible and see everything that we didn't get to see in those 9 days.
Travel Trailer Israel is the PREMIERE guide to all things Israeli. Uri Goldflam is warm, professional and engaging, in person and in video tutorials. This is the Go-To site for trip prep, or needed updated info on Israel or a refresher in history and Biblical references. Goldflam is a GOLDmine of treasure in Holy Land studies!
Could not have asked for a better guide! Uri is extremely knowledgeable. I’ve gained a wealth of information. He helped to make this an enjoyably and memorable trip. I would definitely recommend him to anyone traveling to Israel!
Uri was an amazing travel guide. He is so knowledgeable but he knows how to make the information fun and interesting for his audience. He has a love for history and Israel and that definitely comes through in his tour.
Uri was a fantastic guide in Israel ! He brings all the history from the Bible to life as he explains each site. He prepares you well for what you will see and what you will need there. I felt very fortunate to have had him as our guide. So knowledgeable and fun!!! The trip was absolutely awesome! Reading and understanding the Bible is much more vivid and I can apply what I saw and learned to my Bible reading!
