This review consists on our experience of us getting toured by one of the best tour guides i have ever met, Hatem. He was so knowledgeable, very easy going and knew how to involve you into listening to him even if your interest was only to take good photos (not our case). He explained us things other guides wouldnt and even notified us before hand about situations we might have around to be prepared of everything. It was and indemintecable experience than me as an architect enjoyed to the fullest. All that amount if time on this lengthy tour flied by, in a second. I had the good fortune of having Mona as my guide for a two days. She was very informed about ancient Egyptian history culture and civilisation and delivers her knowledge in a professional, fun and playful manner Highly recommended to all. 10 out of 10.

We had a private tour with Hatem to the East Bank and with Sawson to the West Bank. Both tours were just amazing ! Hatem is such a nice guy and his English is very good. He has studied Egyptology, so he really knows every detail. When we have been in the buildings inside with him, he always explained a lot of details. He also have not been tired of answering our many questions! :) After the tour he also took some of his free time to pick us up at the hotel and drove us to a nice restaurant and exchange office. We were really sad that he already have been booked for the next day. Cool guy! The tour by the way was also really interesting :) But luckily Sawson - our female guide - for the next day at the West Bank also was really nice! Her English was really good as well. We started early this day, but as we booked a hot air balloon tour before it was no problem to reschedule it to a later time. She also explained a lot of details and after the 2 days we finally can say that we enjoyed Luxor so much ! Luxor is more quiet than Cairo, and offers a lot of nice places and spots which are stunning !
