Barcelona Day Tours picked us up at our hotel. Our guide Joao was great! He was on time, called ahead, took care of our luggage. We had a nice drive from Barcelona to Montserrat and Joao filled us with a lot of information about Barcelona, the region and of course, Montserrat. We had plenty of time at Montserrat both with Joao and by ourselves. After our tour, Joao drove us to the port in Tarragona where we were boarding our Viking cruise ship. Barcelona Day Tours is a very impressive company. The day before our Montserrat tour, they met us in the airport, carted us and our luggage around Barcelona on a 4 hour tour that we helped design and deposited us at our hotel. Just wonderful, complete service. Highest recommendations!

We had a great day. Stephen was an excellent guide (English speaking). He shared a wealth of knowledge in an engaging, interesting and humorous way. A perfect balance of a guided tour and free time. We never felt rushed. Eric was an excellent driver and watching the interaction between him and the guide was enjoyable. Every effort was made to deliver each guest post excursion with bonus recommendations regarding restaurants, flamenco show, etc.. Happy to provide a recommendation! For cruise travellers a great option for a day of exploring with safe luggage storage and door to door (ship to hotel) service.

We had a great experience with Barcelona Day Tours’ Montserrat tour. There were four of us on this tour. We were picked up after disembarking from our cruise ship. Pick up was right on time, luggage loaded in the vehicle, and off we went. Hugo was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and super-friendly, a wealth of information. The tour of Montserrat was lovely, it’s beautiful up there. We were dropped off at the hotel afterwards. This is a great way to bridge the gap of ship disembarkation and checkin time at the hotel. The tour was wonderful, my wife says we had the best guide Christian "the German". He was very knowledgeable about the area. We have had some tour guides that seem to be reading off the internet, this was definitely not the case. He took us to the two main areas we wanted to see and then some off the beaten path and "Hole in the Rock" places that we enjoyed. Was very kind and easy to be around we enjoyed the lunch and small talk all thru the day. Please pass this to him if you can. Would recommend him or your company to anyone who would like a personalized tour.

This tour was one of the highlights of our 2 1/2 week trip. We went to Montserrat four years ago and had Elena as our guide, she was so awesome, we requested her again for this tour and once again she did not disappoint. She is so welcoming. It’s like spending the day with family or a personal friend instead of a tour guide. She’s so knowledgeable of the region and seems to know everything.

Fabulous day with our knowledgeable guide, Christian! The car picked my husband, son, and me up at our AirBnB promptly at 8:30 and we returned before 4:30. Montserrat was worth the visit. We even toured the art museum before taking the funicular back down. After a delicious lunch in Montserrat, we made our way to a cava tasting at ArtCava. It was a charming vineyard with excellent cava. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent experience. One of the highlights of our trip

Spain Day Tours picked us up at the pier when we disembarked from our ship. They loaded up the luggage and took us to Montserrat and then on to a vineyard to take a tour and taste the sparkling wine. The day was wonderful and they dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the day.

We had a small group tour to Montserrat and the Cava region of Barcelona. Our guide, Francisco, gave us the history of the mountain and the monastery on the trip. Once we arrived we had free time to explore the monastery, take a trip to the top of the mountain or visit the local market. After our visit to the monastery, we travelled in the vineyards for our Cava visit. We arrived at a small winery and were shown the process of making Cava and tasted several different varietals. It was aoutstanding trip.

Our group of five took a half-day tour to Monserrat with Barcelona Tours. The tour guide picked us up at our hotel as planned. Pick-up was on time. The guide spoke to the small group as we traveled to and from Monserrat. She walked the group through Monserrat and then gave us an enough free time to do as we wanted. Monserrat is a beautiful place, but we highly recommend doing it with a guide from Barcelona Tours. We do not hesitate to recommend this family-owned business for any tour you wish to do. 5 star from each of us. Our guide, Marta, was terrific!
