Super Safari! Great drivers, great lodges. Have made every effort to make this an unforgettable experience. A beautiful country, an adventurous safari cross-country and gaaaa close to the wild animals.
Lydia was very good at communication and responding quickly which we appreciated. There were some last minute changes with accommodation (we were mid-range and had chosen particular hotels) but I'm not sure that was in her control. Derek, our driver, was excellent at managing the schedule and changes as they occurred and ensured that we got the best out of our safaris. We would recommend them.
I booked a 6 day safari using Zanzi and it was incredible. Lydia was very responsive and easy to work with. The company was reliable and everything ran smoothly. Dan was my driver for the first 3 days and Benson was my driver for the following 3 days, they were both super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see and more. Amazing experience overall!

A fabulous and unique experience. Worth every penny. The agency was very reliable and fulfilled everything as promised. At no point did we have any major issues. 100% recommended.
We went on a 6 day safari to Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, but we also got the opportunity to go on a boat ride on Lake Naivasha even though it wasn’t in our itinerary, which was just a big plus. Zanzi African Safaris were always ready to help us. They answered almost immediately when in need of assistance. They are communicating through WhatsApp, which made the process very easy. We had three different guides during our safari, which to us wasn’t a problem, they were all good guides and everything was well planned so the changeovers didn’t cause any delays. If you want the consistency of have one guide you should announce that when planning your safari.
We are grateful to Zanzi’s office staff (Freshia and Lydia) for making such an interesting itinerary and making arrangement including our shuttle bus to and from Nairobi and Arusha with pick-up and for assisting us in changing the driver on our last day. All the best to Zanzi African Safaris. Despite having so many issues with Mr Daniel (a freelance driver), we managed to fulfill our itinerary. We had a great time and we got to see the animal’s migration and the big five. The only thing we missed was the pink flamingo at Nakuru Lake National Park due to one of the vehicle's tire busted (for the second time on the same day). We requested budget accommodation but were not disappointed. The accommodation was simple but stayed affordable. The package price was reasonable and within our budget. We also like to thank Mr Victor (our last day driver) for entertaining us and accommodating our request on the last day.

Such a great budget safari. Highlights were mama cheetah and 5 cubs hunting gazelle, the great migration and very close viewings of lion, elephant and all the planes game. Budget camps were clean, comfortable, lots of good hot food and hot water. Very courteous service, helpful and friendly guides (Joseph and Peter). Zanzi African Safaris were very organised and really seemed to want to make our experience special. Can definitely recommend.
