Le Grand Tour de la gastronomie indienne: Old Delhi Food and Heritage Walk

Description

Myself and my son booked this tour as we had one free day in Delhi. We wanted a quick guide around Old Delhi to orientate us and immerse us in the culture and enjoy some safe food along the way. After some research we booked this tour and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Sonali, was fantastic. Knowledgeable, pacey, showed interest in our group and paid a lot of attention to keeping us safe and making sure we had everything we needed. The food was well chosen, delicious, varied and came with an explanation to ensure we had context and knew what we were having and why. I would 100% recommend this tour - especially if you have Sonali leading. Thank you.
The guide was really polite and friendly, the experience and the food were amazing. There are many meals through the tour (more than I expected). The tour is really long and entertaining which is a really good value. All the restaurants were really different from each other and each one is unique. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Delhi.
Sonali was absolutely amazing, we tried such incredible food that we wouldn’t have found otherwise, and we loved finding out about old Delhi in the process. Would highly recommend this tour!
My Guide was Sonali and I had a wonderful time trying Indias Street Food with her. I ran late but because i was the only person on the tour she was able to wait. The food I tried was really good and Sonali shared so many interesting facts with me about Delhi, the food we were eating and life in the city. I heavily recommend taking this tour.
A great experience- thank you to our very knowledgeable and friendly guides. We walked and drove around Old Dehli- saw parts I would have never had the courage to see on my own. Perfect for us first timers to India. The food was interesting, surprising, sweet and savoury- a great mix- we did the non veg and vegetarian tour- cannot reccomend it enough.
Got to see parts of the city I would never of come to on my own! So many different dishes each with their own flavours.
It was very funny the gudes were were nice and helpfull
A lot of new Impression and experiences and new tastes
Parul was an excellent guide leading us through the metro, onto rickshaws, down alleys, across the streets of Old Delhi. A great tour of a lively area. The food was lovely, and we experienced styles we would not have been brave enough to try, or ever found. As well as info on the food Parul was a great storyteller with lots of anecdotes of India generally.
Amazing experience. Great communication beforehand. Everything was included and handled for us - metro, food and drink at all the places (including small extras we wanted to try). So it was very easy. We went to places we never would have found or dared to try. The food was all amazing and a great chance to try something different. Our guide, Sonali, was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be around. The value for money was also good, lots of amazing food for less than a normal dinner. Our tour was 4 hours long and took us right into the heart of the city through tiny, busy streets.
