Description
Notre voyage commence à partir de Papafragas ou de la «piscine volcanique» où nous nous demanderons pendant un moment à cet endroit pittoresque, vous pouvez regarder vers le bas dans les eaux turquoises claires. Phylakopi qui est notre prochaine étape, ici vous présentera cette position préhistorique. À quelques minutes en voiture de Phylakopi, nous rejoignons le célèbre Sarakiniko , le «paysage lunaire» unique. Le magnifique endroit est l'une des nombreuses merveilles géologiques de l'île et peut-être l'un des endroits les plus photographiés des Cyclades! Nous prendrons un mur en bas du bras de mer afin que vous puissiez découvrir cette plage unique en son genre et prendre quelques photos. De là, nous nous dirigerons vers Plaka et ses rues pavées et ses ruelles. Dans la capitale de Milos, vous aurez le temps d'admirer son architecture traditionnelle et sa vue imprenable sur la mer depuis la véranda de Panagia Korfiatissa. La prochaine étape est l'amphithéâtre romain en marbre. récemment restauré.

Itinéraire
Papafragas est un groupe de criques profondes et de grottes marines. Il est situé au pied d’un ravin immaculé façonné par l’activité volcanique.
Phylakopi est une colonie datant de la période néolithique. Lors de fouilles, les archéologues ont découvert des outils en obsidienne, un verre volcanique semblable au granit. C'est également à cet endroit que la « Dame de Phylakopi » a été découverte.
Sarakiniko est une crique de formations rocheuses d'un blanc pur sculptées par des éruptions volcaniques. C'est un paysage unique !
Plaka est une Chora cycladique classique, avec des maisons en pierre blanche et des bougainvilliers, située à 250 m d'altitude.
Situé sur une pente en contrebas du village pittoresque de Tripiti, le théâtre antique est un théâtre de marbre en plein air bien conservé, bien qu'il ait été légèrement en ruine au fil des années depuis sa construction pendant la période hellénistique. Il offre une vue fantastique, car outre le théâtre et les catacombes historiques à proximité, vous bénéficiez également d'une vue fantastique sur la mer Égée et le port du village de Klima.

We got to see the most incredible views of Milos! Kostas was the greatest tour guide! He showed us the hidden treasures and took great care of us. Comfortable air conditioned van, a small amount of walking, customized for our group.
There’s a lot of walking, but the history is great. Sarakiniko Beach is incredible to see. Our driver was very friendly and knew so much about Milos.
Kostas was an amazing guide. He was accommodating of everyone, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about showing us all Milos has to offer. He was easy to talk to and it felt like we were good friends by the end of the tour. He went above and beyond by arranging transportation for me to have a special birthday dinner in Plaka that evening, and suggested both a restaurant and foods to try.

West of the Cyclades, apart from the tourist hordes that invade its neighbors, this is Milos. Apart from the geological curiosity of the beach and the cliffs of Sarakiniko, not much to see on this peeled island, fried by the sun and battered by the winds. Ah, yes, of course, this is where French archaeologists found and reunited the two pieces of the famous Venus that sits in the Louvre... Other than that? Well nothing, except the unique charm of small villages like Adamandas or Plaka where white and blue reign, where sipping an ouzo or a Greek coffee under a dais of red bougainvillea contemplating the Mediterranean is an innefable pleasure. Time suddenly stops... To visit in autumn to avoid a merciless sun. The sea is still warm and its waters are still crystal clear. Regular sea and air connections.
