Découvrez le Forum et le Palatin lors d'une visite privée à la fois relaxante et divertissante, grâce à des billets avec accès prioritaire. Vous découvrirez les premier et deuxième niveaux du Colisée, l'un des plus grands édifices du monde antique, où les Romains se rassemblaient autrefois pour assister aux combats de gladiateurs et aux affrontements avec des bêtes sauvages. Votre guide vous dévoilera des anecdotes fascinantes sur la conception et la construction du Colisée, son importance politique, les combattants qui s'y sont affrontés et la fin de ces jeux.
Vous vous rendrez au Forum romain et au mont Palatin, où vous pourrez à nouveau entrer directement grâce à des billets d'accès privilégié. Découvrez le palais des empereurs, les temples, les marchés et les monuments en vous promenant dans les rues autrefois fréquentées par de grands personnages historiques tels que Jules César. Cet endroit était le cœur de la civilisation occidentale. Le Forum romain, également connu sous son nom latin Forum Romanum, est une place rectangulaire entourée des ruines de plusieurs bâtiments administratifs antiques importants, située au cœur de la ville de Rome. Véritable centre politique et commercial de la Rome antique, ses allées usées par le temps sont imprégnées d'histoire. C'est là que les citoyens venaient écouter des discours, rencontrer les sénateurs ou voir des personnalités telles que Jules César ou Cicéron. Ces ruines racontent une histoire, celle de Rome et de sa vie politique, avec notamment l'ancienne Curie (le Sénat), dont on peut encore voir les vestiges, mais aussi les impressionnantes colonnes de marbre des temples érigés pour la première fois au Ve siècle avant J.-C.

Vous visiterez le mont Palatin, la plus célèbre des sept collines de Rome, un lieu prestigieux chargé d'histoire auquel notre guide saura accorder toute l'attention qu'il mérite. Sur le Palatin, vous découvrirez en effet le passé le plus ancien de Rome et visiterez les lieux que les Romains considéraient comme sacrés, car ils ont été le théâtre des événements mythiques qui ont conduit à la fondation de la ville. Le guide vous fera découvrir le site du mythique Lupercal, où la louve a allaité les jumeaux Romulus et Remus. La visite du mont Palatin se poursuivra en vous faisant découvrir les vestiges de l'immense résidence impériale.

Great tout by a great guide
Our tour guide was Serena C. She was the best guide one can ask for. We went on 9/21/26.
Serena made the tour feel like we are family coming to Rome for the first time. It was so enjoyable and she was welcoming and wonderful. She provided a fabulous experience for my wife and I.

Private tour worth the experience
Our tour with Serena was incredible! We started at the Flavian Amphitheater aka the Colosseum. She gave us a wonderful history of the function and purpose of this archeological structure. Serena highlighted all the aspects of this wonder to help us gain a better understanding of the architecture and its labyrinth of where the gladiators competed. The Forum and Palatine were just as amazing minus the heat, but well worth the tour! There is so much history and meaning behind and within (literally) every structure. The views whether from above or on the ground floor were very impressive. My family and I truly enjoyed our time with her because she did not rush us and allowed us to take in the visits from on site to the next with plenty of time complete our experience. Her visuals were an added bonus while she explained the stories and chain events that led to symbolism of these fascinating landmarks.

Great family experience - fantastic guide!
Silvia was very knowledgeable and engaging! It was hot and she made sure to find shady spots to tell us about a mix of history! We saw walked through the ruins at a comfortable pace - we were able to stop to take pictures and she even captured several family shots of us all together. Our favorite part of the tour was the colluseum - she let us enjoy at our own pace while sharing history and also telling us about the restoration, etc. We enjoyed the whole tour with our boys (10 & 12).

A tour you cannot pass up
The tour was extremely extensive and informative. We got to see so much and learned even more. Especially the wonderful access we had to the Coliseum. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made sure to get us where we need to go efficiently

Excellent guide—highly recommended
Jada was an excellent tour guide. She explained the history and architecture of the Colosseum and surrounding sites in great detail and with the mastery of an art history professor. We learned so much about ancient Rome and its relevance to contemporary times.

Fantastic Tour with Denis!
Denis was simply fantastic on our 3.5 hour tour of Rome's Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, and the Coliseum. He was incredibly patient with our family, and he highlighted numerous aspects of the tour and innumerable facts that we would have otherwise missed.
