Il s'agit de la visite commémorative du camp de concentration de Sachsenhausen à Birchy's Berlin. Les camps de concentration étaient un instrument clé du régime de terreur nazi, et le camp de concentration de Sachsenhausen était unique. Le camp était le premier camp de concentration construit à cet effet au sein du Troisième Reich et le plus proche de Berlin. C'est aussi l'un des camps de concentration de la Seconde Guerre mondiale les plus visités au monde. Cette visite est une visite complète du camp commémoratif. La visite commence dans le centre-ville de Berlin, où vous rencontrerez votre guide, Aaron. Après cela, nous prenons un court trajet en train jusqu'au mémorial du camp de Sachsenhausen. Aaron est titulaire d'une licence officielle de guide touristique certifié de Sachsenhausen depuis de nombreuses années et a participé à de nombreux cours ainsi qu'à la formation d'autres guides berlinois. Du point de rendez-vous, nous nous dirigerons vers le mémorial du camp de concentration de Sachsenhausen, situé à 30 km au nord de Berlin, à la périphérie d'Oranienburg. Une fois sur place, nous visiterons les éléments clés du camp, notamment: Tour A: L'entrée dans le camp principal La zone d'appel Le bâtiment de pathologie, les bâtiments d'infirmerie et la morgue Celler Station Z: la facilité d'exécution spécialement conçue Exposition dans l'ancienne cuisine du camp Prison SS et Gestapo Ancien bloc de prisonniers

An excellent well put together tour, our guide Paul was extremely knowledgeable and handle the tour really well. For anyone interested in visiting here to learn more about this chapter in German history, would recommend you book with Paul and Birchys Tours.
Would highly recommend this tour! We had Paul as our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about not only Sachsenhausen camp and WWII but around all history of Berlin and Europe. I learnt a lot and Paul had detailed answers to everyone’s questions. This is a must do tour when visiting Berlin!!
Paul was a great guide, he really was knowledgeable about all the sites we went too and over all the experience was great, the meeting point was easy to get to and getting to sachsenhausen was also stress free thanks to Paul. Cannot recommend enough!
Our tour was definitely made by having Paul as our guide. He has so much knowledge and shares it in a way that is clear, understandable and doesn’t avoid the tough/sad/heat breaking details. The day was bitterly cold but the time on the train and at the Memorial flew by. Highly recommend this tour - it added so much to (what we thought) was an already decent knowledge base.

Terrible history and very sad tour. Our guide was knowledgable and made sure we saw the most impactful parts.
We went on this trip which was booked last minute whilst we were in Berlin. The booking process was very easy and straightforward, with excellent correspondence from the company. Our tour guide was Ciaran, who I must say was absolutely amazing! I can’t have asked for a better guide. I could really sense the passion from him, and he is very knowledgable, regardless of the questions asked. Ciaran took the time to explain about the longstanding political, economic, & wartime history of Germany which really put everything into perspective. Honestly, this was an absolutely amazing experience and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in visiting the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.
It was a very colorful and in-depth storytelling of both the history of pre-war Germany along with the hardships and atrocities endured by prisoners.
Beth the guide was great. Social, committed and deeply knowledgeable about the subject. Top marks to Beth! The information from TripAdvisor should be updated. Ex no bus ride from the train station but 20 minutes walk, which was great for our party, but should be informed about. No set aside time for lunch so a steady breakfast before or brought sandwich is needed.
