Les tristement célèbres champs de la mort ont une histoire sanglante. Autrefois un verger et un Cimetière chinois, les Khmers rouges, dirigés par Pol Pot, transformèrent l'endroit en ce qui est devenu connu sous le nom de champs de la mort, où ils ont exécuté environ 20 000 victimes. Pendant trois ans, ils ont massacré et enterré 2,5 millions de personnes. Après avoir rappelé les morts, retournez à Phnom Penh pour visiter le musée du génocide de Tuol Sleng (S21). This tour was incredibly informative and deeply moving. Our guide was knowledgeable and explained the history in great detail, providing valuable context and answering every question with care. Visiting the Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) was a powerful experience that gave us a much deeper understanding of Cambodia’s history. While this is an incredibly emotional, heartbreaking, and confronting tour, it provides a much deeper understanding of Cambodia's history and the resilience of the Cambodian people. Our guide, Sem Reaksa, was exceptional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and deeply respectful throughout the tour. Hearing the history explained by Sem Reaksa added a level of authenticity that an audio tour simply could not provide. The transportation was comfortable, with plenty of water provided. There was ample time at both the Killing Fields and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to reflect without ever feeling rushed. Sem Reaksa led the tour with dignity and care, making it a truly unforgettable experience. We left with a much deeper appreciation for Cambodia, its people, and their incredible strength. Wow, what a day!! We were picked up at our hotel promptly in an air conditioned mini-van. Reaksa Sem was our guide and he was very well informed and knowledgeable on the history and events of the Killing Fields and Genocide Museum. It was a very confronting and sad day to witness the remnants of the atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge. But in saying that, educating people on this genocide is imperative in making sure that such madness is never permitted again. Reaksa Sem gave us a thorough, informative tour and allowed us plenty of time to reflect at each location. We appreciate your work and can’t imagine how hard it must be to tell the stories day after day. Take the tour. It’s not easy and can be upsetting and confronting. But ignorance of what happened in Cambodia won’t help anyone or anything. RIP to all the millions who lost their lives
Pick up is on time and easy. 16 people in our group. Not far to drive. A good amount of information and history and context provided. Water given as even morning tour was warm. Back by 1pm

This is one of the most emotional tours I’ve done. The guide’s (bus ride) pre-visit introductory speech had me in tears before I even set foot on location! His passionate plea for ‘the world to learn what actually took place’ really struck a chord as I endeavoured to comprehend the totality of the Cambodian genocide. Yes, there are audio guides at each location, but having a personal guide was fundamental to understanding the unabridged truth of Pol Pot’s Khmer Regime. It was also essential for knowing how to split time at each location. Pick-up & drop-off was on time with excellent communication - I was SO thankful for the bus AC and cold bottles of water to help me cool down! Every human should learn about the atrocities which occurred at the Killing Fields and S-21 and I highly recommend this tour to help with just that.
This was a great tour. Our guide, Sem Reaksa, was very knowledgeable and we appreciated learning from him. The cold water provided was really helpful on such a hot day. While a heavy tour emotionally, there was a great balance of guided tour and free time to explore and reflect.
