The guide of the wine tasting was very professional, enthusiastic and friendly and the tasting of wine and accessories was ok, but it is not ok to start almost 1/2 hour late because we have to wait for more families who do not meet in time (we were told to meet up 15 minutes before start and there would not be expected if you came too late). In addition, we had booked in English, but we were both guests who had to be guided in English and German by the same guide and it became a strange and slow guidance in both languages, so it ended with irritation over the fact that everything had to be repeated in English and German and the trip ended with over 1 hour of delay due to people's delay and guidance in both languages. You should clearly separate teams by language.
Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your experience. We have decided to consult with the winery to better understand what happened. That day, unexpectedly, it was necessary to deploy some of the staff for the harvest; however, the winery communicated this to all participants. This is why the guide found herself alone managing a group in two languages simultaneously. At the scheduled start time of the tasting, more than half of the attendees were missing, so the guide decided to wait about ten minutes, not half an hour as indicated in your review. Furthermore, the winery informed us that you decided to leave early, without notifying anyone or saying goodbye. Consequently, you cannot know the overall duration of the tasting. In addition, we were told that you interrupted the tasting by showing the guide your mobile phone with names of wines and labels, asking if those labels corresponded to the winery. Kind regards, IHE Team
Lovely morning/lunchtime tasting wine in a beautiful setting near Bardolino. Our host was friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. We had the opportunity to taste 4 wines with some salami, bread and water. All were delicious and their background was explained to us. The tour was interesting and didn't go on too long either. It worked out about 44 euros each which was fair value we thought.
Very friendly and pleasant atmosphere in a very quiet environment. There was plenty of room for questions, which were answered excellently. The heart and passion for winemaking were very palpable 😊
This was a birthday gift, the recipient stated it was excellent value for money. The host was friendly and very knowledgeable. A wide range of wines to taste.A good of the vineyard. Amazing experience!
Very interesting, everything super explained, our guide Julia did it so nice, likeable and great. The wine tasting was our holiday highlight!
The winetasting was really lovely. Great location and the woman who did the tasting was great!
We tasted five fabulous wines served with local cheeses and meats at La Cà. Our guide Julia was very knowledgeable and very interesting. The winery is a relatively small family business able to give a very personal insight into the whole wine making process. All in all this was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours in the beautiful Bardolino countryside.
The vineyard in the Bardolino region was beautiful and the wine tastings paired with meat and cheese were excellent. The tour was very informative about the wines, the region and its history. It was an extremely enjoyable afternoon and I highly recommend it.
Very good explanation warmly received very nice wines very nice and clean environment beautiful location very good explanation and in perfect English very good value for money ratio
Julia, the tour guide, was lovely but the selection of wines was not IGT which was somewhat disappointing. We had hoped for a tour that was in Bardelino town, but it was at a winery outside of the town. I wouldn't recommend this as good value for money and I don't think it was as advertised on Viator.
