La fascination et la perle de l’Arménie montagneuse est le lac Sevan, qui est l’un des plus grands lacs d’eau douce au monde. Il est environ 1900 m d'altitude. Le lac est d'origine volcanique et est entouré de montagnes de 3000 m et plus. Le magnifique paysage et les eaux cristallines servent de bonnes conditions pour un repos excellent.Le lac est également célèbre pour sa péninsule et son complexe d'églises médiévales construit en 874.
Une scène merveilleuse s'ouvre dans la partie nord-ouest du lac Sevan, où la péninsule domine la surface transparente du lac. Le monastère de Sevanavank a été construit sur la péninsule en 874 par l'ordre de la princesse Mariam, fille du roi Ashot Bagratuni. La silhouette des églises sur le fond du lac turquoise et du ciel bleu jette une impression inexplicable sur les visiteurs.

It was a light trip, which fitted our needs for the last day of our Armenian experience. The lake is beautiful.
I am choosing Huyr Service for 3 years and glad that quality is the best and haven't changed along this period. This time I took a tour to Sevan (3rd time). Thanks to our driver Khachatur we got here fast and have enough time to visit all the places. And our professional guide Akop made the journey educational and fun!

We had a wonderful day exploring Armenia with Tamara as our tour guide and Karen as our driver. Both were in a great mood throughout the trip, incredibly helpful, attentive, and always eager to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. The highlights of the tour were beautiful Lake Sevan, the impressive monasteries, and the delicious cheese tasting. Everything was well organized, and Tamara shared interesting information and stories along the way, making the journey even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic half day tour to lake Sevan, ou driver Jova was very patiently and picked us even a bit earlier at the hotel. The bus was new and very comfortable, this is important for a family. I recommend them!
