It was a very informative tour which covered the city’s history and showed us important places, sights and landmarks. The guide was very knowledgeable and had a passion for what he was telling us.
Good explanation and tour of Lithuania s Parliament and past especially pre and post WW2 and their struggle for independence
Thank Your for your great review. Hope to see You again.
The guide showed up even though I was the only one registered for the tour. He was very knowledgeable and put up with all my questions.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
It was ok. Spent the majority of the time in other parts of the city rather than the museum. The guide walked very fast, only a few of the 12(?) people could keep up. Tired by the time we got to the actual museum. The prison brought us to first was more interesting than the KGB building. The trip advisor meeting location was off. You have to go to the bottom of the ticket to find the actual location, if you go to the Waze or Apple Maps you will be off by 2-3 blocks.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the pace of the tour and the meeting location caused some frustration. We appreciate your comments about the route and will review them to make the experience more balanced and clear for future guests. Your input helps us improve!
Domas was a fantastic tour guide, he had a vast amount of knowledge and delivered it brilliantly. Thank you for a great afternoon.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your afternoon with Domas and appreciated his knowledge and delivery. Hope to welcome you again soon! 😊
We had a great time. These topics are not easy but we need to know our history and our teenagers need to learn it too.
Thank you for your thoughtful review.
A very informative tour of the ‘KGB Prison’ and surrounding area. Thomas, our guide, was knowledgable and able to explain the complex and sensitive history Lithuania and Vilnius in particular. He encouraged questions and was keen for us all to learn about his country. We enjoyed hearing about the Lithuania parliament too. A brief but informative (and hard hitting) tour!
Thank you for your kind review! We hope to welcome you again in Vilnius!
The guide provided a wonderful history lesson - he was very clear and easy to understand with the dates and impacts. It was fascinating.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We hope to welcome you back to Vilnius someday!
Great tour, was just me and the guide, Domas, who was very friend and really knowledgeable! Some amazing and devastating history that I wasn't aware of. Recommended.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! Hope to see you again in Vilnius!
Hidden away in a rather ordinary building. A sobering reminder of how far Lithuania has come in the last 35+ years since occupation. The somewhat cramped rooms, only helped to reinforce how oppressive things must have been here at that time. Would thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Vilnius.
Thank you for your kind words! We’re glad you found the KGB Museum visit meaningful and informative. It’s an important part of Vilnius history, and we’re happy you enjoyed the experience.
