So affordable with with a great quality. Very knowleageadbe guide and so many hidden gems in the city of Sofia. I never expected that for a tour costing a couple of coffees.

Poor tour, don’t bother!
This trip was so bad that I would actually give it 0stars if that was an option. In the end I used a GPS app because I had not been given a map which was much more detailed and easier to use. I eventually got the map at about 4:10pm when I had already returned to my hotel. Not impressed at all and would NOT recommend this to anyone. Complete waste of my hard earned money!

Hello Teresa, You booked the self-guided option which does not include a physical guide and that's why it costs a coffee. We had sent you everything via email and you could use it anytime you want and it's for you. Not only for the day of course. There is technical time as you understand after your booking to send you all needed for you to implement it. The team did so and sent all the needed to you via email. Given this we cannot accept your review because it's misleading to everybody reading that. Best regards

No tour and no refund!
I book tours through Viator all the time and usually have great success. This was supposed to be a private walking tour. When I booked it, my booking details said that the tour operator would reach out to me with the start time of the tour. I waited and waited but nothing. So the day before the tour, I reached out to the operator, who said I was supposed to have contacted THEM! This was not written in my booking details; in fact it was the opposite, that they would contact me. So when I talked to them, the only time they had available to start a 3 hour walking tour was 6:30 PM at night. I could not do this, so I told them I would have to cancel. They said I should reach out to Viator for a refund, which they would approve. When I returned from my trip, I contacted Viator for the refund, mentioning that the operator said they would approve the refund. Viator flat out denied my refund, even though their misinformation was the reason the tour didn't happen. So I just lost the full amount of the tour when the reason for not being able to do it was fully the fault of Viator. I'm not impressed with their poor customer service.

Great tour and guide
My guide Stoyan had great local knowledge and gave me an insightful tour of Sofia. He was a very nice chap and we got on really well. It was pleasure to see his town and learn about the capital of Bulgaria.

A great tour guide makes the trip - Pavlina is the way to go
It was perfect! Our tour guide was funny, smart, pleasant, patient and made the tour very enjoyable. Pavlina, was just awesome, what more can I say! If you are going to use this company, make sure she is your guide. Her English is great.

Great local tour of Sofia
I got this as a surprise from my man. Private walking tour of Sofia for the fraction of the price. We had Yordan as our guide - super professional local. Also a historian! Young guy knowing it inside out and telling it in an interesting way. Super nice almost four hours. We tipped him :)

Sofia walking tour
I could walk at my own pace but nothing that I could’ve not done myself! Whatever information was sent is available on Google and google maps! Why pay for the information? If you can do your own research then no point in paying!

Hello Krishna, thanks for your review. Not to mislead somebody with it I clarify the following: 1. You booked the self-guided option which does not include any live guide with you and transport; 2. All the information you received - the total guides notes for Sofia, audio guide and maps with the points of interests to follow are what the guide in the privately-guided tour option follows and explains; 3. You pay several times less and do it alone. That's a very preferred option for people who can orientate and be flexible to make the tour at any time they would like. You tried to make us do the privately-guided tour for the price of the self-guided but as you can understand that's not possible. We can always upgrade to the privately-guided tour if the customer pays the price difference. So, the self-guided option gives you total control and flexibility and that's why it's preferred by so many people already. Best regards, Hristo
