Le travail de l'architecte brésilien Oscar Niemeyer témoigne de son intérêt pour un design fluide. Les exemples incluent le musée d'art contemporain à Niterói. Nous traverserons la baie par le pont de la Costa e Silva, long de 14 km, qui mènera à Niteroi pour voir 7 projets de Niemeyer. Visite du théâtre populaire et du musée MAC. Déjeuner au restaurant Olimpos et visite du City Park. Les seuls bâtiments à visiter sont le MAC et la station de ferry Charitas où se trouve le restaurant.

Le mémorial Roberto Silveira et le théâtre populaire Oscar Niemeyer ont une forme proche des vagues et disposent d'une structure pour les concerts en plein air pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 10 000 personnes.
Le Musée d'art contemporain (MAC) est le symbole de Niteroi. Le MAC est connu pour son architecture futuriste, qui ressemble à une soucoupe volante.
Nous terminons à la station de ferry Charita et au restaurant Olimpo. Sur le chemin du retour, nous visitons le parc de la ville pour admirer les plus belles vues de la géographie extraordinaire de Rio.

Marco was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgable, accommodating, patient and charming. Because of him we had a wonderful visit to Oscar Niemeyer today. And thanks to him for bringing us to have a very delicious lunch at the ferry building. I would highly recommend this tour to friends and family!
Marco did a fantastic architecture tour of Rio focusing on (but not only) Oscar Niemeyer. He did the nice surprise to bring us to the top of Niteroi where we saw an amazing sunset.

We hired Marco B. to see the buildings designed by Oscar Niemeyer. We started the day at the Caminho Niemeyer and saw several of Niemeyer's creations. Marco then took us up to the city park with magnificent vistas of Rio. Lucky for us, we discovered that Marco had been a hotel concierge and he made reservations for lunch and dinner for us that were the best meals of our trip.
This guy really knows his stuff! His history is amazing. I’m so happy that he went above and beyond his normal tour duties to show us a couple other gems in the city!!!

We had a fantastic time with Marco yesterday doing the Oscar Niemeyer tour. He went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience in Rio by also giving us a lot of very useful cues on where to go in Rio for Arts and food etc... We would definitely book him again next time we are here for an extended tour of Rio or maybe go to Petropolis. Thanks a lot Marco!
