La Rencontre des Eaux, Dinis Island, Lacs de Killarney

Description

We really enjoyed the boat tour. Our guide went above and beyond to personalize the tour and provided a lot of information. Highly recommend this tour!
Hi Elises, thanks so much for taking time to such a lovely review. We also appreciate the feedback and in particular the ones that highlight the efforts our team make to look after our guests. Thanks a million, Mike and Tony, RCBT.
Amazing lake trip through Killarney Lakes with knowledgeable guide Diarmaid, through to Meeting of the Waters (very beautiful) and then to Innisfallen Island, best of all, amazing monastic site surrounded by ancient woods, hawthorn in flower - the highlight of our Kerry trip!
Thanks a million for the review - we love that our tour was the highlight of your Kerry trip and hope you have many more wonderful memories from your time in Ireland. Kind regards, Mike and Tony, RCBT.
We are just back from a trip to the meeting of the waters with Mike. This is a super way of seeing the lakes and Mike was an absolute gentleman. Very impressed with his knowledge and history of the area and the lakes. If you want to do a boat trip on the lakes we would highly recommend this trip.
Hi guys, thanks so much for the review. Mike is one of the best guides on the Lakes of Killarney with a lifetime of knowledge and experience. He loves looking after guests and is always so appreciative of feedback like this. Thanks for the 5 Stars. Mike and Tony, RCBT.
This open boat tour should not be missed on any trip to Killarney, it’s absolutely magical! The skipper, a kind & considerate gentleman, has a wealth of knowledge on the nature, history & geography of the Killarney lakes. There’s a minimum of 4 fares to make the operation viable, & as a solo traveller I booked the boat for myself, and it was so very worth it! I also recommend enjoying a coffee & bake from the Garden Cafe close to the jetty by Ross Castle, all freshly made food & great coffee!
Hi Martine, thank you for taking time to share a great review. Its a wonderful tour and absolutely agree that the Garden Cafe is a good spot for a nice coffee. Mike and Tony, RCBT.
Highly recommend! Or maybe I shod say it's the most recommend thing in my 2-day kilarney trip, and you won't regret if you choose the meeting of water, I'm grateful I chose to go even the weather is not too good, but then after the storm and tornado on the lake I saw the whole rainbow and the peace on the wetland, it's really unforgettable, thank you Captain Jason!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. While the weather wasn't great on the day, your description really highlights how ready it is to enjoy the park and Lakes in all conditions. Thanks so much for the 5 star review and Captain Jason is delighted also. Kind regards, Mike and Tony, RCBT.
Mike really made the tour for us, so pleasant and informative, remained enthusiastic the entire tour which was nearly two hours long. Really enjoyed it. Thanks to Mike and also to Jack who spotted the White-tailed Eagle in the trees from 150 metres away! A great tour and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
Hi Greg, thank you for the great review. The Meeting of the Waters is a beautiful tour and it is always great to see the Eagles. Jack and I enjoyed the tour also. Enjoy the rest of your holiday. Mike and Tony (and Jack😂), RCBT.
What an amazing trip! It happened to just be our family in our boat. Our guide was kind, knowledgeable, and great with our young kids. We took the boat ride out to the island then had time to explore which was really fun. We were very happy with the trip and would do again! We were glad we booked ahead of time as it seemed it would have been hard to arrange on the spot as you can with the jaunting cars.
Hi Laura, really appreciate the 5 star and detailed review. It is great to get such positive feedback and we love that you described us as kind and great with kids as the island tour is a really great option for young families. From a small family run business a huge thank you. Mike and Tony, RCBT, 085 1742997.
It was a beautiful boat trip. The skipper gave a lot of information, had a lot of knowledge. I would book the boat trip again in no time.

Absolutely outstanding. Mike our boatman was both knowledgeable about the lakes and also customer focused. We visited Innisfallen island, the mountain shore, bricin bridge, Dinis, the meeting of the waters and Glenna. The attention to detail and focus on information was amazing Mike has huge experience as a boatman and this was very evident throughout the trip Ross Castle Boat Tours caters for all ages and abilities and I cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone considering a trip around the Lakes of Killarney

We had an amazing trip on Lough Leane under the stewardship of our guide Mike. The scenery was spectacular, and the detailed history provided by Mike was exceptional. He has a great way of sharing knowledge and really enhanced the experience. We would highly recommend the trip and the whole experience of dealing with Ross Castle Boat Tours. They cater for such a diverse range of people and shared some of the stories from previous guests. Superb.
