Great tour! So much information for any rock lover! Highly recommend!
I loved the tour. I went alone and had a lot of fun and cool pictures. I also made friends, the group had good vibes. Of course, Danny Boy fan of David Bowie like me made the tour even cooler. Recomend!
We took our 16-year-old daughter on this tour and we all had a blast. Callum was a fantastic guide. It takes skill and talent to make a tour of things that mostly aren’t there any more engaging, and Callum succeeded. We all know a fair bit about music, but we all learned fun facts to impress our friends. He was sensitive to keeping us out of the sun and away from the crowds, and he’s does hysterical impressions of musicians.
We did the Rock and Roll Walking Tour with Al today, and honestly - what a find❤️ We're West Londoners and we've walked these streets our whole lives. But Al completely transformed them and brought them to life - we learnt so much. He has a gift of making you feel like you're hearing a city's secrets for the first time, and I genuinely don't think we'll ever wander through those same roads again without his stories and memories of the tour coming back to us. As big music lovers, we were still constantly surprised by how much we didn't know. Al is deeply knowledgeable, funny, and has a warmth about him that makes you feel like you're just chatting with a mate who happens to know everything about music history. You can tell this isn't just a job for him. He genuinely loves it, and that comes through in every story he tells. I'd recommend this tour without hesitation. Thank you so much for such an amazing day Al!
Wow! Our Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour was exceptional! Al, our guide, made it so. His storytelling, humor, communication throughout and extras (stories, tips, recommendations) along with creating a fun, authentic and communal experience for the whole group was outstanding. A memorable experience we will never forget. Thank you Al!
I highly recommend this tour for any fan of music but especially fans of 60s and 70s British rock. Danny Boy is an excellent tour guide full of knowledge, stories and lots of rock n roll attitude and energy! Hear origin stories and see recording, performing and meeting locations of Bowie, Zeppelin, The Who, Floyd, Elton and others. Also a tip of cap to the 70s punk scene and 90s grunge and alternative. Several mentions of the Beatles but not at the expense of other Brit rockers. Five stars! Take the tour and make sure you get Danny as your guide.
I bought this trip for my husband. He really liked it. Tom was an excellent guide. It was a very hot day.
My family and I had Henry as a tour guide and he was fantastic! It was a hot day and he kept us in the shade as much as possible. We had a few hard of hearing in our group and Henry spoke loudly and clearly. We loved that he included some personal antidotes and kept a great pace.
an excellent, high energy whirlwind tour of the old Soho spots - where elton john met bernie taupin, where sharon met Ozzy, where the rolling stones had their first ever rehearsal, where the oasis album cover and ziggy stardust album art was photographed! And of course the Beatles final rooftop concert performance location. Tom was an wonderful storyteller and guide. highly recommend.
Calum was great. Good for all ages. Lots of music history revealed. Good pace. My group (ages 77 to 36) had a great time.
