I think this tour is overpriced for what you get. It felt a bit rushed walking through city at end. Didn’t have a lot of time to stop for lunch.
Hi Shivani, I'm sorry you didn't feel you got your money's worth in the tour, but you had a private tour for your family, which included a professional guide and a private van to transport just your group. You had VIP tickets for Monserrate included to avoid at least 2 hours standing in line and this tickets cost 4 times what a regular ticket costs. When you mentioned you wanted to stop for snacks at Monserrate the guide made a break so you guys could eat, and later you never mentioned you wanted to stop for lunch, if you had asked for it you would have been given the time for it. I just want for you to realize that you had a professional guide and private transport in a van for 6 hours just for your group, and skip the line access, these are expensive services as professional guides and transport vans are expensive, as well as the skip the line access to Monserrate. The tour was 5 hours long but you had a 6 hours tour, I honestly don't understand why you felt rushed if you had an extra hour of tour.
I was pleasantly surprised that I was the only person on this tour (I have some health issues and I was worried that I might slow down others on the tour)! Anyway, Natalia Cardenas was a wonderful tour guide - she was very knowledgeable, professional and personable! I really enjoyed the tour and it was well worth the price I paid for it. Highly recommended!!!
Diego was excellent! He was super knowledgeable, so friendly and an absolute joy to spend my first day in Bogotá with!
Amazing tour! Very knowledgeable guide, lots of information about history, great fruit and chics tasting. Very varied tour, it is awesome.
Diego was a fantastic guide, and I really enjoyed my few hours with him. His English is fluent and he is knowledgeable about all matters Colombian: art; history; politics; architecture; wildlife etc. I cannot recommend Diego enough, and on my next trip to Bogotá will definitely look him up for another tour.
I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the tour. The walks and views were great. Rafael was very knowledgeable and personable. A great communicator! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits Bogotá.
Tours are usually perfect because of the guide/host. Which is why this was a perfect day from the beginning to the end. Rafi is extremely knowledgeable and attentive. We learned so much about Bogota in the time we spent with him. Mount Monserrate was beautiful and the ride up and down was also a true experience. (Beware of the Sunday crowd, its insane.) The price was definitely worth the tour, you get more value than you think with this team. My husband is not a big museum fan but I am, so I loved getting to see the Museo del Oro and walk around La Candelaria and take photos of some of the street art. The best part for me was on the day we toured we were able to meet two of the other tour guides with their groups and they were all amazing! We stopped at a cafe on the Mount and had Canelazo. It was a perfect day!
Insightful, Luis was knowledgeable and engaging. Tour and sites were worth the time and dollars. Enjoyed the day very much
This was an excellent tour, Dani the guide was so knowledgeable about the city. He was able to answer my questions about the cityand the architecture of the buildings. Thank you Dani for sharing Bigots with me. Stephen
