A highly appreciated experience of a trip through space and time, around the most emblematic sites of the historic center of Bordeaux. With our sincere thanks to Emma for a very informative and exciting visit, not forgetting the good addresses!
Superficial tour, not informative at all. Emma was not a good story teller, did not provide much information on history or culture. We could've easily googled the sites to see, but were hoping for insights from the local. Disappointing tour.
Very informative and good tour with Emma! We explored the city, the historical highlights and local culture
Emma was very knowledgeable about the history of Bordeaux. She took her time showing us all the magnificent sites and made our experience wonderful. Furthermore, we appreciate her recommendations on restaurants and shopping areas.
My wife and I began our 4-day stay in Bordeaux with a private tour with Emma. She is professional, informed, and personable. She was at our meeting place at the time she had told us. She explained the plan of the tour and the historical significance of what we were about to see. We learned that she has professional training in the tourism industry, and it shows. My wife does not speak French, so our tour was conducted in English. Emma told us that she continues to work on her English, but we found her to be quite articulate (and with a charming French accent!). We chose a private tour because it is friendlier and more responsive to our interests and pace. I have some temporary mobility restrictions. Emma discreetly took those into account. I was able to comfortably complete a 2-hour tour. It was a perfect introduction to the city, giving us a wealth of places to re-visit in the following days. Emma happily gave us recommendations for restaurants, cafes, stores, and other sites to see. She kept in contact during our stay through WhatsApp and invited us to message her with questions or requests for further recommendations. The experience, in large part due to Emma, felt very much like a visit to Bordeaux guided by a friend who lives there.
Very interesting visit with Emma. We really had a great time and learned a lot about the city of Bordeaux. We loved it and recommend! Thanks to Emma for a great morning.
Emma was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly and gave us a wonderful look into a spectacular city. Would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Emma gave us an excellent tour of the old city of Bordeaux. Emma is enthusiastic and engaging. We spoke mostly English and a little French. Emma answered all our questions very well. Emma provided historical context on the historical sites, and gave local tips on the modern city. That helped us fill the rest of our day which was a bonus. We only had 1. 5 days in Bordeaux. Thanks to this tour we feel like we really got the most out of it.
Our guide was thorough, competent and friendly and had a notebook with maps and pictures that helped us understand the city and its history, architecture and layout. Definitely a good experience!
Emma was a wonderful guide great knowledge and love of her city. We also loved Emma's energy . She also gave us so much insight to Bordeaux !
