Absolutely incredible tour with Steven! Amazing history, intelligent discourse on local culture, and wonderful explanations of everything we saw. Five stars!!!
We really appreciated this tour when we got a lot of insides of the history of this old city and many magnificent views. The Cathedral is very imposing but even more fascinating was the old basilica that got a not so nice facade. We also liked the Castle and the Golden alley with its historic and modern craft shops. The monastery was another hight. An experience of a different type was the fantastic view over this very beautiful city from the hill and during the walk down. I really appreciate that they have preserved the most part of the buildings and not teared them down for ugly modern buildings. However, what we enjoyed most of this experience was our guide Jarmilla. She is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of the history of the Prague and also of today Czechoslovakia and the daily life of its citizen. She is very personal, and we got stories from her family history that further increased our understand of the country, its resent history and its people. She is very good of taking care of and informing all the people in the group so no one felt neglected which easily is the case. I really loved her and I will remember her.
Excellent tour though to be clear we covered the castle hill but did not tour inside the St Vilus cathedrsl or castle just outside the buildings. Our guide Mikhaul was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. We highly recommend this tour of the Prague castle complex.
Ivana is a lovely, interesting and well informed guide, with a fabulous sense of humor. She took us on a 2.5hr tour of the Prague Castle area. The best thing about this kind of tour is that if you notice something you can ask and get an answer. You can't do that on a big tour. She gave us a real insight into Bohemian life in the middle ages and beyond. Her pride in her country shone through. I would mention that tickets to the castle, cathedral etc have to be purchased separately.
Tomas was friendly and informative. He pitched the level of detail and timing just right for us, and really brought the Castle Complex to life.
A wonderful tour with Tomas, our guide. We highly recommend because there is so much we would have missed without him.
From beginning to end, our tour with Mesh was terrific. He met us on time and asked what we'd seen in Prague so far so he wouldn't repeat places we'd already been to. His knowledge and passion for the city was obvious and we learned so much about it's history, architecture, and culture. We enjoyed his sense of humor as well. It was a great tour that we can highly recommend. (April 2019 tour)
great person to chat around with while the walk on a whole host of subjects regarding the city and the country. He was also extremely helpful with the directions to reach. We did this tour with him in Aug 2018.
Mesh proved to be a personable and knowledgeable host during our wonderful visit to Prague in November 2018. He was a mine of practical information who took us to some unexpectedly interesting areas of Prague. Mesh could provide background information about this great city that rendered it much more accessible and meaningful to us as tourists. We especially loved the chocolate and gingerbread shops, Mesh. Thank you and see you next time! Chris and Sue, Melbourne, Australia
I booked a tour with Hana and didn't realise what a treat the day would be. Right the start we clicked and from there it was like two friends sharing time together. I learnt so much about Prague, but we learnt a lot about each other and shared this wonderful time together. Thank you Hana. I hope to keep in touch. Karen
