Notre premier arrêt sera le village d'Oia, le village le plus célèbre de Santorin au nord de l'île. Dans ce lieu unique, les visiteurs peuvent admirer les maisons historiques qui ont été construites dans des niches à l'intérieur de la roche volcanique et les églises aux toits bleus. De plus, les vues adorables de cet endroit vous détendront et vous donneront la chance de prendre les premières photos de votre album.
La prochaine étape de notre programme de visite est le village de Firostefani, la "couronne de Fira", qui doit son nom à sa position élevée. La vue imprenable sur Fira et le volcan depuis le village restera dans votre mémoire pour de bon. Nous continuerons pour une visite photo de la célèbre église au dôme bleu, une église emblématique qui a orné la couverture de tant de guides de Santorin.
Une autre expérience inoubliable vous attend à Profitis Ilias, une fois que nous aurons atteint le sommet de la montagne Profitis Ilias (Prophète Elie), le point culminant de Santorin à une altitude de 600 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Ici, nous explorerons la zone du monastère historique homonyme et prendrons plus de photos de la vue panoramique depuis cet incroyable point de vue.
Le village de Pyrgos, situé au pied de la montagne Profitis Ilias, sera le premier village traditionnel de notre circuit. Cet endroit nous offre des vues panoramiques sur les deux côtés de Santorin, tout en conservant les caractéristiques de la domination vénitienne. De plus, les maisons traditionnelles des Cyclades et les sentiers placés tout autour de l'ancien château vénitien font du village de Pyrgos un lieu à ne pas manquer.
La plage rouge d'Akrotiri mérite sans aucun doute une visite, étant donné qu'il s'agit d'un spectacle rare, probablement unique au monde, où le rouge est la couleur dominante. Il est entouré de collines rouges escarpées qui créent un paysage captivant et sauvage. Si vous vous tenez au sommet, vous verrez d'énormes roches volcaniques situées dans la mer, de petits cailloux et du sable de différentes couleurs, principalement rouges, sur toute la plage et de belles eaux bleu foncé.
Le village d'Akrotiri abrite deux trésors historiques qui sont les principales attractions du village. L'un d'eux est le site archéologique d'Akrotiri, une ville préhistorique très importante de la mer Égée qui vaut vraiment le détour. Vous pouvez vous y promener et voir des fresques, des artefacts, des meubles, des systèmes de drainage modernes et même des bâtiments à plusieurs étages de l'âge du bronze.
Cette belle structure fait une très bonne cible pour marcher. Vous serez récompensé par des vues fabuleuses sur la mer Égée et les îles environnantes.
À ce stade de notre visite, il nous fera plaisir de vous emmener nager dans les eaux cristallines éblouissantes de la célèbre plage noire (également connue sous le nom de Perissa) si vous le souhaitez. Cette zone balnéaire forme en fait la pointe de la longue plage de sable noir de Perivolos et est, sans aucun doute, la plage la plus fréquentée et la plus remarquable de Santorin.
