L'ancienne tour Burana + Visite de la ville de Bichkek, 1 jour

Baiel was excellent! He and our driver were organized, knowledgeable, and friendly. With limited time in Bishkek, we were grateful for the overview of the city, its history, and its culture. Thank you!

This was a five star experience in a strange and unfamiliar land. Took the guided tour of Bishkek city and the Burana tower in early April 2025. Akylai and the driver (sorry I forget his name) in an excellent car took great care of my basic needs for the tour and also helped accommodate a few special requests, including a vegetarian lunch at an authentic Kyrgyz restaurant, tasting horse's milk and taking a picture with the giant Lenin statue. At short notice I arranged a second day with the same guide and driver to visit Ala Archa National Park. The hike was a bit more difficult than expected due to the cold wind, but definitely doable and the scenery was magnificent. Again a special request for a vegetarian lunch at a different authentic Kyrgyz restaurant, and an airport drop off at the end of the day were all accommodated. I definitely recommend Ventura Tours Central Asia if you are planning on visiting the wonderful country of Kyrgyzstan.

Only had 24 hours in Bishkek and wanted to see as much of majestic Kyrgyzstan as I could! I had a fantastic day with Baiel exploring the countryside and major sites in Bishkek city. What made this tour special was that it felt as if I was on a roadtrip with a long-lost cousin - Baiel and I talked a lot about his life in Kyrgyzstan and his hopeful plans for the future, his own experiences abroad, and the history and background of the sites we visited. Such a cool, personal, and authentic experience - thanks Baiel for a great day together! Couple of other notes/recommendations: - Bring a hat and sunscreen in the warmer seasons! There is a good amount of outside time on this tour and it can get toasty. - Have some cash on hand for incidentals like souvenirs. We attempted to buy some strawberries from a roadside vendor and I didn't have any local currency. - I was able to customize my tour start time as I landed in Bishkek early that morning and needed time to check in to my hotel and get settled. Baiel and my driver were also able to drop me off at dinner instead of my hotel at the end of my tour.

First of all, I want to thank Ventura Tours Kyrgyzstan for accepting my booking on such short notice, I know I must have caused utter chaos for those poor employees. Sezim was my tour guide; she was very nice and answered my boring questions. Our driver was also very friendly and receptive to my broken Russian. I quite enjoyed everything on the itinerary - if I wanted to spend extra time on something or take pictures Sezim was patient and happy to snap pics of me (as you will see below, she did a good job). As usual, I look fantastic. I think my favorite moments was our stroll through a couple parks to look at monuments as well as our venture into the Osh Bazaar - I have never seen so much horse meat in my life. Very exciting things, plus I recommend having a guide take you through the bazaar because it is a maze... plus there are insights you may miss if you roam without a native. I highly recommend this trip for tourists in Bishkek - it was a good day trip and it's worth your time!

It was a complete and different spots in the same day. I will remember this day like a misñx of soviet-kyrgyz culture and silk road landscapes.

Absolutely one of the best tours. Ash our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the history of Bishkek and of Kyrgyzstan. He made the history come alive for us. There wasn’t one monument or statue that we painted to that he did not know the history of. He kept pace with us old ladies instead of rushing us around. He was patient and kind. The tour was amazing and we did get a lot of ground covered. I highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall this was an amazing tour. Ash is a great guide, he knows his city and country well and is really happy to chat with you about it and answer any questions you have. I learned a lot about the history of the country, got a great tour of Bishkek and of Burana Tower. I had a lot of requests to stop for photos of horses on the windy scenic mountain road back to Bishkek and Ash and the guide were happy to stop for me. Ash does longer tours and if I ever return I would like to try one of those out as it's a beautiful country.

One of those perfectly crafted one day tours if you don't have a huge amount of time in Bishkek but appreciate a local guide taking you around for the day. My guide Boka was great as was the driver - a highly recommended tour.

Was just an amazing tour ash my guide really brought the history and culture of both the Burana tower and Bishkek, i was blown away by my guides knowledge of both the city and the tower. Ashs was generally a lot of fun to be around, i learnt a lot about Kyrgyzstan that i never knew and his level of English is that of a native speaker so i had no issues on that front. tower had some beautiful scenery got some great photos. tour also includes a meal in a local restaurant which really added to the exercise as it was a local place not some tourist trap, this tour is great value for money. if you're in Bishkek for a short amount of time this is a perfect tour to do, the fact that this tour also combines a tour of the city is a bonus, the tower is not that far for the city, so you really do get alot from this tour.

This was our second day trip with Ash as our guide. We had a great day and learned at lot about the history of Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan - both older and newer. We want to thank Ash for two great days with him seeing some of the best places in and around Bishkek. We can highly recommend Ventura Tours for everyone!
