Kirghizistan 7 - Jours : Issyk Kul, Song Kul, Ala kul & Altyn Arashan

This 7-day journey through Issyk Kul, Song Kul, Ala Kul, and Altyn Arashan was truly unforgettable. I gave everything the maximum score, and rightly so! What really took this trip to the next level was our fantastic guide. Playing cards together in the evenings, sharing stories about our home countries and cultures, horseback riding through stunning landscapes, relaxing in the hot springs… every moment felt special and personal. At the same time, there was always enough space and time for ourselves, which made the balance perfect. The organization itself also deserves credit: the planning of the 7 days was good arranged, with a logical and well-thought-out structure from day to day. Everything ran smoothly, without any stress. One small suggestion: a bit more budget for the guide himself would be welcome. An absolute must for anyone looking for adventure, authentic encounters, and breathtaking nature. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful adventure holiday in Kyrgyzstan for 7 days. A country full of open, friendly, and helpful people who live their long traditions and culture. Breathtaking, unspoiled nature. Mountains and plateaus so high that even I, a Swiss person, am envious. We thoroughly enjoyed the simple nomadic life in the yurt, experiencing nature and the mountains on hikes and horseback rides. The tour was very well organized. My partner and I had a private English- and Russian-speaking tour guide/driver who showed us his country in his off-road vehicle. He told and showed us a lot about his country and its culture, took us to traditional restaurants, and recommended national dishes and drinks. The accommodations were mostly in simple but perfectly adequate yurts with shared outdoor toilets for the entire camp, which were always very clean. Showers were only available at a few locations. Bring plenty of wet wipes and hygiene wipes. A headlamp for orientation in the yurt and outside at night is highly recommended. A power bank is also advisable, as electricity isn't always available everywhere. However, we also had a luxury yurt with its own attached shower/toilet and electricity. We spent the last night in a lovely beach hotel on Lake Issyk-Kul and were able to go swimming. It's best to discuss your desired level of accommodation when booking the tour. Higher-end camps are available for an additional fee, subject to availability if booked early. For us, all the yurts were perfectly adequate, whether basic or luxurious. They were always well-maintained and clean. Most were run by a very dedicated family. From the grandparents to the children, everyone helped with great enthusiasm and friendliness. This trip was incredibly memorable and beautiful for me. It will remain a cherished memory for a long time as our nature trip. Especially the horseback riding through the untouched wilderness, through forests and streams, along rivers and waterfalls, was fantastic. And this despite the fact that neither my partner nor I could ride a horse. Now we can, somehow. Take this trip and get to know this fantastic country and its people.

I spent 7 days exploring Kyrgyzstan on this group tour, and it was easily a 5/5 experience. The landscapes are absolutely mind-blowing, from horse riding by Song-Kul Lake and hiking the stunning Kok-Zhaiyk Valley, to the incredible trek up to the Ala-Kul Pass and relaxing in Altyn-Arashan. ​We did hit a minor bump when we ran into an issue with our car, but the team handled it smoothly that it barely disrupted our plans. ​What truly made the experience, though, was the people. I started the week traveling with a group of total strangers, and by the end of the tour, we become friends. If you want an authentic, seamless adventure through Central Asia, I would recommend this tour!

It was really nice to connect with him and his professionalism shown in the tour as we all really happy and comfortable on each 7-days tour. We manage to discuss our total payments and he offered great discount deal for our small group as it was really nice he didn't charge us extra and we go the best package for this tour! We were so happy each day as we had not much stress on us and everything was so calm and easy going. Guide was so helpful that he was describing us everything earlier before the activity and we could manage our mindset for it. We had amazing experience to learn Horse Riding in Song Kul lake on the Shore of the lake which helped us to walk in meadows of Altyn Arashan Valley and Kok Jaiyk Valley . All Yurts were quiet accurate for guests and meals were quite nomadic which made us feel really nomadic in times ! Guide was so professional to explain about some geographical Features about the places and he was using some stories to explain Kyrgyz Warriors strengths which was really interesting to understand and enjoy the tales in Yurts. He was organizing basic needs for us in all the way and making us feel home every spot. Everyone was so happy to see his hospitality and work.
