Itinéraire
Après le musée, nous nous dirigerons vers la cathédrale de Bagrati qui surplombe la ville. Il a été construit au 11ème siècle comme symbole de la Géorgie unie.
Ensuite, nous nous déplaçons vers le monastère de Gelati du 12ème siècle. Il y a 3 grandes églises, une académie, la tombe de David le bâtisseur, un clocher et des maisons de moines dans le complexe. Il a été construit par le plus grand roi géorgien David The Builder.
Le monastère de Motsameta est lié à l'histoire des frères seigneurs torturés David et Constantine Mkheidze. Il est construit sur la falaise et est entouré par la rivière sur 3 côtés. La nature et les couleurs autour du monastère sont incroyables.
Visite à pied dans le centre-ville de Kutaisi
Tout d'abord, nous conduisons à Tskaltubo et visitons Printemps #6, où le Guide raconte l'occupation soviétique. Ensuite, nous marchons vers la source #8 qui a l'architecture la plus inhabituelle parmi les sources de Tskaltubo. L'endroit suivant est Spring #5. Le prochain arrêt est Sanatorium Gelati, spécialement construit pour les enfants et il y a une ancienne aire de jeux et un beau point de vue sur la construction intérieure. Après "Gelati", nous marchons au sanatorium "Medea", en suivant avec "Druzhba". La dernière séquence de la visite est la gare de Tskaltubo.
La dernière activité de la visite est la dégustation de vin au bar à vin local - Vin d'ambre. Une fois que nous y sommes arrivés l'hôte - Irakli nous parle des vins et autres boissons dans son bar. La table avec verres, vins et collations est déjà installée pour nous. Nous prenons place et Irakli commence à raconter l'histoire du vin, la culture et les techniques de vinification en Géorgie. Ensuite, nous commençons à déguster les vins un par un et à faire l'accord mets avec. Une fois que les 4 vins sont terminés, nous terminons avec le Chacha qui est une boisson spirt géorgienne et est élaboré par distillation de raisins ou de vin. Après la fin de l'expérience, les clients peuvent rester au bar et continuer la soirée avec leurs vins préférés.

This tour is perfect if you are short on time in Kutaisi as you get to see a bit of everything. The highlight was the winery visit- the food and wine were delicious and I was able to buy some wine. Special shout out to Lasha who was a fantastic guide.
Good tour to discover some highlights in Kutaisi ( the Gelati is closed for the moment for restauration) and a visit to a wineyard ( Baia & family), both our guide Saba and Baia gave us good insights and patiently answered questions. Last but not least: the Georgian spread was amazing!
This tour was fantastic ! We got to learn so much thanks to our guide. The beautiful religious architecture, the history of Gerogia, the interesting spots in Kutaissi, the wine culture... It was very fun and thanks to our guide we felt very safe during the whole time.

The trip i took with Budget Georgia is really worth the money. We spent a full day discovering historical cathedrals, got to learn about their culture. Went to the winery and what a lovely people there! The authentic Georgian food amazing!! I highly recommend booking your trips with these guys. They have also transfer services to other cities and their prices are really affordable. My guide was Mariami and she is a pleasant person. We had so much fun, laughs and good memories that i will taking home with me♥️
amazing experience. the guide was very knowledgable and we got to know a lot about georgian history. he explained us the processes of wine-making, which added more value to the experience. the dinner was unforgettable and there were even many vegan options available.
