Le plus grand sanctuaire de papillons et d'oiseaux d'Australie. Situé à côté des marchés de Kuranda, il abrite plus de 1 500 papillons tropicaux. Flânez dans les jardins tropicaux luxuriants de la volière et dans le laboratoire d'élevage pour en apprendre davantage sur le cycle de vie et le comportement d'un papillon.
Glissez au-dessus et à travers la canopée de la forêt équatoriale ancienne et émerveillez-vous devant la vue spectaculaire depuis le Skyrail, le téléphérique de la forêt équatoriale. Il y a deux arrêts le long de ce trajet en télécabine où vous pouvez descendre et explorer la forêt équatoriale depuis l'intérieur.

The train is assigned seating. The seats are fixed and therefore there are seats that are forward facing and ones which are backwards facing. I unfortunately was on a backwards facing seat. 10 minutes into the ride I had motion sickness. There are no accommodations to deal with this - no ability to change seats, no vomit bags. Needless to say it was a very unpleasant 90 minute train ride.
The train was closed due to an issue with one of the bridges but the tour company didn’t reach out to tell us that the trip was cancelled. We along with several other groups waited around in the morning for our pick up that never came. The lack of notification made it difficult to plan other activities at the last second. We had even texted the tour group the day before twice about a different pick up location and never heard back from them. I’m sure the trip is good but not this company
The train trip was quite amazing and met our expectations. However the return shortened Skyrail trip and subsequent long coach trip back to Cairns was disappointing. We understand that this was not due to any fault of the company but would have preferred to be forewarned sooner. We do however thank the company and especially the very patient bus driver on the return trip. Thank you. Jenny and Ross
I have no idea why the Viator ticket said 10 am when the pick up from sky cable was 11 am. It’s confusing and conflicting information. Overall I enjoyed the experience but Viator and cairns down under need to make sure they are giving people the correct information
Good experience. The bus driver on the bus ride was very informative and natural. The day went smoothly even though some of the communication leading up to the day was a little confusing.
Lovely train trip very comfortable came back gold class , a very nice finish to the day Vivienne was a great host making sure your drinks were topped up and you were comfortable. Stunning scenery along the way. Plenty of photo moments. Skyline very well organised and again lovely views.
When you board the bus you receive your itinery including the times for rail, sky rail and return bus. Even your seat and carriage on the train is listed. Once you get off the bus at the train station you are on your own until picked up later in the afternoon to head back to Cairns. Basically the day is all organised for you which is great. Theres plenty of time to look around Kuranda. Most of the shops closed by 3pm and there wasnt much to do at the end but wait for the coach.
Do not book with viator we paid twice the price and it didn't include the butterfly farm etc wasn't included. There was no mention that the sky rail was closed down the mountain. We were told to be at Cairns station at a certain time and the train we were supposed to be on was leaving the station as we arrived.Talking to other passengers they booked directly at the station and were told everything that was working and what wasn't. Learn the lesson do not book with a third party always book directly with the provider. We could have spent a day on the great barrier Reef for the same price. Very disappointed 😞

Currently the cable car is not working, so we needed to bus to the top. There is a lot to do and see in Kuranda. The train ride back was very scenic.
