De quoi parle cette tournée: Il s'agit d'une excursion d'une journée complète d'Udaipur dans les montagnes de la chaîne d'Aravalli pour voir l'impressionnant fort de Kumbhalgarh et les temples de Ranakpur. Ce que nous verrons: Kumbhalgarh: Construit sur une colline à 1100 mètres d'altitude, le fort de Kumbhalgarh a des murs d'enceinte qui s'étendent sur 36 kilomètres de long, prétend être le plus long du monde après la Grande Muraille de Chine. Les murs frontaux ont quinze pieds d'épaisseur. Kumbhalgarh possède sept passerelles fortifiées. Plus de 360 temples se trouvent dans le fort, 300 anciens Jain et les autres hindous. La vue depuis le sommet du palais s'étend généralement sur des dizaines de kilomètres dans la chaîne Aravalli. Ranakpur: Ranakpur abrite une collection de temples Jain inégalés dans leur beauté. Le temple de Ranakpur est dédié à Adinatha, le premier Jain Tirthankara (chef spirituel) qui a conquis le cycle de la renaissance et atteint l'illumination.
