The castle is a swoon. Very well preserved and you can visit almost every room. Very nice surroundings. You can have a good day in the city as it is very beautiful, eats very well and quite cheaper than in Copenhagen. Taking the train from Copenhagen Central Station costs €10 per person each way.
Enjoyable tour. Edgar is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He made the trip fun and relaxed.
Edgar was an amazing guide. He made everything interesting and pacing was also good. The company was also reliable keeping their guests posted on the trip regularly. Highly recommend this company. Well done!
Our guide Eva has been fantastic. You can tell she knows, she's very nice and friendly.
Unfortunately the weather was most foul and disturbed when we visited this castle - that even Hamlet would have been perplexed! An experience that is well worth going to regardless of the weather! The guides are exceptionally good. Make sure you do a tour to get the full experience of this historic castle. Not sure why Shakespeare chose this castle as a setting for his masterpiece- Hamlet other than he wanted to ingratiate himself with the royals of Denmark and England of the time. An interesting and superb place to visit.
Hi, Thank you for leaving your review. You have left your review in the wrong place. Could you please delete it? If you had done a tour with us you would know why Shakespeare chose this castle for Hamlet. Thank you, Laura
Had a great time visiting the 2 castles. Elizabeth was a great guide and gave us all fun interesting little stories about all the kings and assorted personalities. So much fun. The driver was also great and felt very safe and comfortable.
Visited Kronborg and Fredericksborg castles in Denmark near the Helsignor ferry crossing across from Sweden, north of Copenhagen. Our tour did not include entrance into either, but you can do that for the typical fees. Kronborg is the site associated with the Shakespeare play, Hamlet, guarding the straits between the two kingdoms; nearby Fredericksborg is another royal abode with extensive formal gardens as well as tours inside available. If castles are you thing, certainly worth the visit.
Our 9-hour sojourn on July 16 visiting Kronborg Castle, Louisanna Museum and Viking Ship Meseum was such a rich and fulfilling experience seeing these gems of Denmark, yet almost effortless through the fantastic arrangement of Edgar, our tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, and most importantly, his amazing story-telling skills had brought life to the history and joy to his audience. We are also thankful to Jose, our driver for taking care of us on the road and being always impeccably on time to meet us after we finished a spot so we wasted no time to head to the next destination. A long day for us starting at 9am and finishing at 6pm, but an eye-opening and enjoyable experience to see 3 very different attractions of Denmark.
Laura and Jose were the best tour guide and driver! They were so personable and knowledgable. The tour flew by! We learned so much and had fun doing it. Highly recommend these two!
super recommended the tour and especially your Herman Guide! who was taking us through the streets of Copenhagen mixing between his presentations the present and past of the City 🤩.
