Notre voyage commence par un ramassage matinal à votre hôtel, suivi d'un trajet en van climatisé jusqu'à l'embarcadère du lac Cheow Lan, où notre Guide vous attendra. (Nous confirmerons votre heure de prise en charge spécifique par courriel 12 heures avant le départ.) Environ 2 à 2,5 heures pour le trajet.
10 h 00 – 10 h 30 : Rencontrez notre Guide touristique (Anglais) qui vous fera un briefing et s’occupera de tous les frais d’entrée et arrangements pour le parc. Nous embarquons ensuite sur un bateau à longue queue pour une croisière panoramique à travers les montagnes calcaires à couper le souffle. Surveillez la faune dans l'arbre et le long des rives! Vous pourriez même apercevoir des animaux sauvages errant à proximité. Une fois à notre rafthouse flottant. N'hésitez pas à profiter des activités nautiques, kayak, baignade, ou simplement prendre le temps de vous détendre à votre rythme. Déjeuner : Dégustez un délicieux repas de style thaïlandais et des fruits de saison au rafthouse.
Après le déjeuner, nous prendrons un bateau jusqu'à l'emblématique 'Khao Sam Kloe' pour prendre des photos avec le monument le plus célèbre du lac. Ensuite, nous irons explorer les fascinantes formations rocheuses de Diamond Cave, suivies d’une petite randonnée de 1 km à travers la forêt tropicale. Ces activités sont à la fois amusantes et sécuritaires, ce qui rend le voyage très familial. Enfin, nous profiterons d’une promenade panoramique en bateau jusqu’à l’embarcadère.
16 : 00 – 16 : 30 : Arrivée à l’embarcadère et départ en minivan pour votre hôtel. Le programme peut être modifié en fonction de la météo, des conditions de sécurité ou de la discrétion du Guide.

It was a really fun trip, especially because Mr. Ooh made sure we visited the places at the best times, when it was quietest, thus avoiding the crowds. It was also great to do this tour in a small group. He also explained all the history to us, which allowed us to learn more about the history of the lake's origins.
Super nice experience we had a very sweet tourguide his name is Ooh. Thank you Ooh. We were a group of 8 people that was so fine clay group compared to the other boats. He had calculated it perfectly with regard to being able to visit the places at the quietest moments. With this he avoided the crowds and we could enjoy all the places. I booked this tour for 4 adults and 24 hours before the tour received an email noting pickup at 7am. As a result, we had to skip the very good -and included- breakfast at the hotel and NOTHING except the 7-11 was open earlier than 7am for coffee. We ended up standing outside the hotel for OVER 40 minutes. Via app/text communiques the company rep accused me of not reading the email, which I took screenshots of and never apologized for being way late REGARDLESS of what time he claims he was supposed to arrive. I have never had a tour operator like this before and I've done a lot of tours. I have included screenshots of my communiques with the operator and the condescention was not lost in translation. They definitely made it worse when they could have simply apologized. The first half of the tour and day was a waste of time. They take you to a "floating restaurant" that is just a cheesy touristy restaurant with astro-turf where you have to hang out for about 2 hours, with the option to swim in a small sectioned area of the lake or kayak in the lake, akin to what you'd find at any city park. This area of the lake was not particularly scenic and the whole thing felt like a way to kill time to justify the charge. The second half of the tour was good - the next part of the boat ride was through the scenic area of the lake you see in the marketing photos and the trip into the cave was really cool, although the jungle trek in between the two was silly and pointless - basically just a 1/4 mile loop stop on an island back to the boat to make you feel like you had been in a "jungle adventure" as if you had never left your couch before. Cue the giant eyeroll. This tour would be better by cutting out half the time, half the cost, and improving the professionalism of the operators. The guide himself was perfectly pleasant though.

We had a fun day at Khao Sok with our guide Oh. He switched the order of the program so that we would do our activities with as less other people as possible. When we arrived at the first stop, we could hear the Gibbons in the trees. The view while kayaking was amazing so I definitely recommend doing this. I also recommend putting on sunscreen, definitely if you're a white white person like me. (I got a bit burned on the front of my legs). We did not see any monkey or snake, also not during the hike, which was a bit sad, but then again you have to take your chances with safaris like this ;) The hike was fun and adventurous, but maybe a bit short (although good enough for the program of the day). We had an amazing day. Lunch was super nice and the guide was good. I recommend bringing everything they list on the program page like sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and maybe also a cookie for the way back. It's quite a long day, definitely when you have the 2 hour trip in car added like we did. So you'll be tired, but happy. Enjoy!
We had booked a trip to Cheow Lan Lake in Khao Lok National Park. And it was just fantastic our guide Oh(?) was great. The park and lake are beautiful. Even lunch at Phutawan was very delicious
