Kpalimé & Mont Agou : Aventure au Cœur des Merveilles du Togo
Description
Il s'agit d'une excursion privée sur le mont Agou et la ville de kpalimé et terminer avec une bonne baignade à la cascade de Womé. Vous gravirez (randonnée de 1 voire 2heures) le mont Agou à travers des petits villages plein de charme perchés au flanc de montagne avec de nombreux points de vue sur la région pour atteindre le sommet. Ensuite nous continuerons le reste de la journée par la visite des sites touristiques de kpalimé inclus dans l'excursion. Ensuite, vous descendrez en voiture, direction vers une chute d’eau cachée et une piscine pour vous rafraîchir. Après la baignade nous reprendrons notre route pour Lomé.

Itinéraire
Départ de Lomé pour deux heures de route vers kpalimé (profiter pour contempler le paysage et la nature Togolais). Une fois au pied du mont Agou, nous débuterons notre monté en voiture jusqu'au village Kebo Djigbé (l'un des villages perché au flanc de montagne avec une vue à couper le souffle et très visité par beaucoup de touristes). Une petite randonnée à travers le village pour rejoindre le pic d'agou. C'est le moment de faire sortir vos appareils pour les prises de vues. Avec un peu de chance vous aurez l'opportunité d'interargir avec la population locale. Une fois sur le pic, nous vous donnerons des explications détaillées sur les éléments se trouvant sur le site. Le climat sur le pic d'agou vous donnera l'envie d'y rester toute la journée.
Centre de production d'une variété d'articles artisanaux, vous y trouverez beaucoup d’articles tels que des vêtements en batik, de la maroquinerie, des bracelets, sculptures sur bois, poterie, batiks et macramés en matières locales. C'est également une école pour les jeunes de la ville de kpalimé. Un centre a double rôle.
Un château beaucoup plus visité de part son architecture et sa geolocalisation. Vous avez une vue en hauteur bien dégagée sur le paysage et directe sur la ville de kpalime et ses environs, de même que les frontières du Ghana et avec un peu de chance on pourrait apercevoir le lac haut volta si la visibilité est bonne sur les montagnes. Un site qui vaut également le détour malgré le manque d'entretien et de rénovation
Prochain arrèt pour une reprise d’energie: la cascade de womé pour une bonne baignade dans sa chutte d’eau rafraîchissante pour mieux reprendre cette longue route qui nous attend. Avec un peu de chance vous pourriez rencontrer d’autres touristes sur le site de visite et partager vos expériences. Vous descendrez un terrain escarpé pour atteindre la cascade cachée et grimperez de la même manière après votre visite.
Direction Lomé au point de départ où prendra fin cette belle excursion.

- N'importe quel endroit où se trouve le touriste uniquement dans la zone du circuit et à Lomé ( seulement le jour du début des activités) - Toute prise en charge avant ou après est également possible mais à discuter d'avance avant le début de votre circuit. I booked this as a solo traveller as it was the only one offering to book for 1 person, but it was easily the best decision! My day started with Robert arriving at my hotel saving me from a drunk man who was talking my ear off. So already off to a good start. The drive to Kpalime was so easy because I had the best driver in all of Togo. He was so safe, and stuck to the basic road rules, but also made sure the large amount of potholes were avoided and would apologise if he accidentally hit one! Absolute legend. A couple of tips from a fairly fit 36 year old bloke: - I opted to hike up Mt Agou, and it started as an easy winding hike through forest but ended as a straight up the side of the mountain stair climb. Not for the faint of heart. - Getting to see and swim in the waterfall is worth it but it’s also 335 stairs - I counted! - As you’re driving down the rough dirt road to get to the waterfall, you might think it’s not worth it. But hang in there, it is!!

Excellent tour in and around Kpalime. The waterfall normally visited was closed due to an accident unfortunately. However, we were still have to visit one of the waterfalls. There was a lot of hiking, but the scenery was great.

This was a great trip. I really enjoyed the mountain climb, although the humidity and heat got the better of me about half way up. The trip to the market was perfect for picking up some local handicrafts and the swim by the waterfall was a great way to finish the day. Seli and Jules were great hosts and went out of their way to make the trip excellent
Brilliant tour with Seli a great guide and lovely driver. Walk was stunning and swim in waterfalls very refreshing. Also met local people and visited a remote health centre. I would highly recommend the tour.
