Cette visite vous emmène à trois endroits magnifiques sur les pentes des montagnes Kozjak et Mosor! La visite de la forteresse de Klis est la première de l'itinéraire. Cette forteresse, située entre les montagnes Mosor et Kozjak a joué un rôle important dans l'histoire étant le point stratégique entre la côte et l'arrière-pays de la Dalmatie. Les ducs et les rois croates la détiennent comme faisant partie de leur royaume mais le rôle le plus célèbre de la forteresse a eu dans les guerres avec l'empire ottoman. Après la forteresse de Klis, nous visiterons le parc ethno-agro Stella Croatica. Ici, vous verrez la production de produits végétaux locaux et de pâtisseries. Vous participerez à une visite guidée à travers la voie de production, le jardin botanique et le musée de l'olivier où vous entendrez l'histoire fascinante de la culture de l'olivier et son importance culturelle dans la région. La dernière étape est Vranjača, un monument géologique à couper le souffle. La grotte de Vranjača est le monde souterrain de stalactites et de stalagmites qui a été façonné par l'eau pendant des millions d'années.

Mario was a great tour guide and made the trip informative and comfortable. We went on a few trips throughout our holiday and this one was definitely not one to miss! Another note to make is that he was very patient with us, which we really appreciated. We were also pleasantly surprised at one of our stops (Stella Croatica), which you get to learn about olive oils and subsequently taste honeys, sweets, oils, and skincare products all made by the family business. The cave was very good, if you have done the salt mines in Krakow, you will appreciate this stop. The Klis fortress was stunning, with Mario speaking of the history and how well defended it was during medieval times, if you also like Game of Thrones - you’ll love it.
Mario made the whole process easy. Communicated early to arrange the exact pickup point and time. We had a great day out with our experience guide. Would recommend Mario if you are thinking of a small group private tour. Don't miss the caves, amazing.
We had a fantastic experience on the private tour to Klis Fortress and Vranjača cave. Both locations are stunning and offer completely different, unique perspectives of the region—from the incredible history and sweeping coastal views at the fortress to the breathtaking natural formations inside the cave. What really elevated the entire day was our guide, who was absolutely excellent. They were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and added so much context to everything we saw. To top it all off, they went above and beyond by recommending the absolute best pizza spot in Split and dropping us off right at the restaurant afterward. If you are looking for a perfect getaway from Split that combines history, stunning scenery, and top-tier hospitality, we cannot recommend this private tour highly enough!

Mario took great care of us on the private tour. The attractions go very well together, and we were very happy about the sites as well as the stories shared and historical facts highlighted by Mario. We LOVED our private tour with Mario! He picked us up directly from the hotel. We got to Klis' fortress early, so we had the site to ourselves. He explained the story really well, it was super interesting. We then went to Stella Croatica (olive oil museum). We enjoyed seeing the creation process, but even more taste the products and bring back some for our loved ones. Finally, we visited the cave of Vranjaca. This is super impressive site! Again, we were almost alone, so we really got to take our time and appreciate the beauty of the place. Thank you Mario for a wonderful day!
