Keiko was so kind and friendly during our time together. She had set out several pieces for me to choose from after asking my preferences for color and patterns. She has quite the collection! Keiko was very meticulous as she fitted me in the kimono and explained the significance of certain patterns and different styles and she even had a folder with pictures to further educate you. You pick out every part of the kimono, I didn’t realize there were so many pieces involved. Then Keiko shows you a list of hairstyles she can do and does your hair as well. I thought it was very sweet that her father served me tea and her husband drove us around. She took dozens of photos of me and helped suggest poses because I’m clueless with posing in general. The photos turned out so nice! Keiko has a good eye for backgrounds. I had a really lovely time and learned so much. I went solo and felt so comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend this unique experience.

Working with Keiko was such a wonderful experience. She was warm, attentive, and communicated clearly from the moment we connected through the end of the session. She did a beautiful job with my hair, and the photos came out even better than I expected. The setting had a cozy, personal charm that made everything feel intimate and authentic. What made it extra special was how much she genuinely enjoyed sharing her culture. I felt comfortable, cared for, and had so much fun. Oh… the matcha tea (especially prepared by her father in law) and the little matcha yōkan snack were delightful and delicious. Pick-up from hotel on time via private car (arranged in advance) to kimono styling room. Choice of kimono and venue (we were lucky to get a break in the weather). Green tea served (a surprise). Photos taken professionally and sent the same day (can also take your own photos. Highly recommended.

Keiko-san and Masaya-san were incredibly kind and attentive to both me and my mother — truly, the entire family is so lovely. (We brought home the dice!) Although it was our first time wearing kimono, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. We were able to immerse ourselves in Japan’s rich culture through the kimono fitting, hair styling, and zori; the matcha and yokan tasting; and even learning how to properly pray at the temple. Keiko-san is practically a superwoman with her many talents (I’m in awe of her incredible range of skills — she's such an inspiration to learn from), and we’re so grateful for the beautiful memories she captured for us. Already missing the warmth of the family as I write this. Their heartfelt sincerity and incredible hospitality left a lasting impression on me, filling me with gratitude for having experienced it all alongside my mother. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I had so much fun wearing the kimono and partaking in Japanese tea and sweets. We also learned about shrine etiquette and prayed at the shrine! Thanks to Keiko-San we will have these beautiful pictures to look at and remember our first time in Sapporo. I strongly recommend this kimono experience. ありがとうございます!

This is more than just kimono wearing. It's a personal and local experience tailored to your tastes. Keiko and her family were mindful in every aspect off this tour. Not only did I have over a hundred professional photos within hours but her father served us green tea with a local sweet. Keiko made sure I was comfortable and went out of her way to specialize my look. Her husband was our driver and holder of all things. It's truly a family affair and you can sense the love within. That made this tour stand out from all the rest.

The two of us were extremely helpful, friendly, made a dress, and started taking photos of our emotions from yogans and matts entering the temple door, handwashing and siamese risks. Every shot was really fun and wonderful for us.

As a foreigner, I've always wanted to wear kimono, but it was really nice to know where to try it in Sapporo. A friendly Suzuki came to pick up delicious bread and tea as well as a kimono. The photo shoot at Hokkaido Shinjuku Palace was really a great memory. I think I could take pictures without any inconvenience while watching. The photos came out so well that I was satisfied! This tour exceeded my hopes, expectations, and dreams! Keiko established contact confirming my reservation promptly, and provided clear and concise directions on where to meet and how I would recognize her. As a 5'9" size 10 American woman, I was concerned that I might have a very limited selection but she provided several beautiful garments and tons of obi and accessories to choose from. She's a very talented and creative stylist and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The Shrine and surrounding grounds provided a beautiful snowy scape for her photography in which she paid close attention to lighting and composition and she coached me on how to pose like a proper Japanese lady. I am ecstatic at how my pictures came out and I strenuously suggest this experience. Keiko and Masayo embody the Japanese spirit of grace, generosity, and hospitality and created many beautiful memories as well as images. Domo arigato gozaimasu!
