Backwoods Island camping
Used the canoe for backwoods camping on an island. Great service, but the canoe doesn't have a keel, so is a bit hard to control in waves and wind, but it was comfortable and roomy.

Description
Ce voyage est le mieux adapté pour les familles avec des enfants de moins de 10 ans, ou les gens qui ont un budget serré de temps, ou les gens qui veulent une aventure avec moins d'engagement dans l'activité. Il s'agit d'une aventure entièrement guidée de 2 jours en canot dans l'arrière-pays. Aucune expérience n'est nécessaire, minimale à aucun portage, adaptée à tout le monde. Ce voyage n'est pas une bâche dans l'arrière-pays - notre objectif principal est le temps passé au camp, donc c'est particulièrement parfait pour les jeunes familles ou les gens qui ont peu de temps et veulent se détendre. Je recommande vivement ce voyage si vous avez de jeunes enfants! Notre voyage en canot Keji commencera par un rendez-vous à notre siège social à Jake's Landing. Nous allons remballer vos articles dans nos imperméables, déjeuner rapidement (nous fournissons cela!) et ensuite décoller dans la nature. Par temps chaud, nous pourrions nager à partir d'une flottille de canots, ou prendre un peu d'ombre et une collation sous une vieille pruche. Nous visons à combiner luxe et confort avec le paysage inoubliable de la Nouvelle-Écosse pour créer une aventure parfaite pour tous.

Kind, courteous help from the folks at Whynot! Have booked with Whynot several times now and they always offer top drawer service and advice. Prices are reasonable and they cover all the basis. Into the wild … and back
Really great experience with Caroline. It was the perfect mix of sport, adventure, relaxation, great food and fun. Really liked the légère atmosphere and yet how meticulously everything had been planned before. Highly recommend.

Very easy to book and helpful staff
Easy to book with and very helpful. This is my second time booking a canoe for a few nights in the Keji backcountry and I was surprised at how much the rental fees increased since I last booked in 2023. But if you aren’t able to borrow or buy a canoe ahead of time, Whynot definitely makes it an easy and smooth experience.

Big Dam Loop at Keji
Wife and I did a 2 night loop at Big Dam with our dog. Was a great loop and not too demanding. Whynot has all the gear you need, they were super friendly, and were helpful with portage recommendations. They even get us a lift from Jake’s landing to Big Dam to start the loop. Look forward to coming back and booking with them again!

Canoeing at its best
A fantastic tour with a super nice friendly and knowledgeable guide (Dylan) who also proved to be a perfect cook. A great tour through wonderful landscape. Beautiful camping spot, offering plenty of swimming in the lake. My wife and me and our grown up daughters enjoyed ourselves immensely!
