Kayak Albanie - Excursion sur la rivière Vjosa à Përmet

My wife and I chose kayaking because we were looking for a more challenging experience. We were the only ones in a kayak, while everyone else went in rafting boats. The river is still deep at this time of year, and the trip was a lot of fun, with three challenging sections. Along the way, we stopped by the riverbanks to swim and try body rafting. Each guide also took photos of the participants, which was a great bonus! Just bring a swimsuit and water sandals, as all the other equipment is provided. I did not have sandals, so they gave me a pair of flip-flops. Highly recommended!

We went on a kayak trip as a couple. It was a lot of fun, Kevin was a great guide and guided us well despite our very limited prior knowledge. Anyone who wants to take the kayak and not the rafting boat should bring some prior knowledge - we relied on the "beginner friendly" classification and ended up in the water a few times. But it was also nice, it was still super super fun!

We loved our kayak tour! We got the meeting point address wrong, but fortunately they were very responsive and came to pick us up where we were! You can tell it's still a well-oiled little machine where 5-6 canoes leave at the same time and once they've left a new convoy arrives, but despite everything, all the instructors are very friendly and give you a truly good experience. For our part, we took a kayak for two (not possible to take 2 solo kayaks as we thought we would at the start) but in the end we loved it and the difficulty is challenging without it being too hard (we were used to kayaking anyway so maybe a bit dangerous for novices in the stronger currents). The landscapes are breathtaking. Thanks to the whole team!

Super organized rafting tour with helpful, friendly, and English-speaking guides. A lot of importance is placed on safety on the river. You can choose between a kayak for a maximum of 2 people and rafting boats for several people, the latter with a guide. We had a kayak, which increased the fun and the adrenaline. But you should already have experience with it. This provider is a clear recommendation.

We had an amazing and adventurous week canoeing on the Vjosa River. The team at Rafting Vjosa Albania was incredibly supportive throughout the whole trip. They gave us valuable tips, shared their extensive knowledge of the river, and were always helpful whenever we had questions. We spent four days paddling down the river, and their advice made a real difference. When we arrived at the finish point, they picked us up within a very short time. The equipment we rented was in excellent condition and worked perfectly throughout the trip. Highly recommended, and we would definitely do it again!
