Kauai's Ultimate South Shore 2 Dive Tank (plongeurs certifiés uniquement)

This was a terrific shore dive experience. We are new divers and had only ever been on boat dives. But the cove was rich with life and we everything from sea turtles, rays, octopus, and countless species of fish and vibrant coral. Our dive master, Logan was amazing. We'll definitely be back to with Kauai Dive.

This was the first shore dive. It was a different experience. The undercurrent was quite difficult getting in and out, but the dive instructor was excellent. He was knowledgeable and funny and experienced with the surroundings. My daughter was having equalizing issues and he took his time and was very helpful. I would use him again.

This dive was excellent. Dive Kauai kept us informed of where to meet and had all of the gear ready to go. Did a great job of having a safety briefing and reviewing the wildlife we were likely to see prior to getting our gear ready to go. Once on the dive, they were very conscientious to show wildlife to view. So many turtles and eels! It was an awesome dive. Highly recommend.

What a completely unique experience! The amount of turtles was mind blowing ! I loved both dives! Our DM Zack was the BEST! We had 2 first time divers with us, and he truly took time and patience to help us all! Thank you Zack! He also brought a GoPro for us to use since I left mine at home. Great job by the whole crew at Kauai dive!

This was an excellent dive, very convenient marina to get to and park at. The boat, gear, and crew were excellent - we had a ton of fun the entire time we were out on the water. Dive sites were great, we saw a ton of marine life, especially turtles and even got to listen to humpback whales that were somewhere nearby.

Excellent! Water was clear - we saw lots of colorful fish and turtles. It was so good we are doing it again in a few days.

Staff had lots of knowledge, were helpful, and made this dive experience as best as it could possibly be in less than optimal weather and water conditions. In fact, an afternoon scooter dive had to be canceled due to weather and water conditions, and they slid me to a same-day morning two-tank boat dive. I’m glad they did this and had a very good time (I saw the biggest sea turtle I’ve ever seen).

Jimmy was an excellent dive master guide. He was patient and also described many aspects of the dive we would encounter.

Our family had an exceptional experience with Dive Kauai during the Ultimate Shore Dive. From start to finish, the dive was professionally organized and our crew was welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do. A special shout‑out to our divemaster, Avery Smith, whose professionalism and deep knowledge of the reef ecosystem made the entire dive unforgettable. Avery has a gift for blending expertise with approachability—he took the time to explain what we were seeing, why it mattered, and how to move through the water in a way that respected the marine environment. This was our second dive with him and we searched him out because of his expertise. Most importantly, Avery brought tremendous comfort and confidence to our young diver. His calm presence, clear communication, and genuine care transformed what could have been a nervous moment into a joyful and empowering experience. Watching our child light up underwater was something we’ll never forget, and Avery played a huge role in that. If you’re considering diving on Kauai—especially with kids or newer divers—Dive Kauai and the Ultimate Shore Dive are absolutely the way to go. We left with new skills, great memories, and a deeper appreciation for the island’s incredible underwater world. Highly recommended.
