Description

We did the seven heritage sites tour in Kathmandu with Asmita, and even though it rained for most of the day, it turned out to be one of the true highlights of our trip, entirely because of her. She was endlessly patient with us, stopped to take genuinely beautiful photos at every single site, and made sure we felt taken care of the whole day, rain and all. Her knowledge of the history at each stop was so rich that it never felt like a checklist, it felt like she was sharing something she truly loves. A few tips if you’re booking this tour: bring cash in Nepali rupees for entry fees, around ₹6000 per person total. Pack a light rain jacket or umbrella even if the forecast looks clear.

I was able to visit the World Heritage sites in Kathmandu efficiently I appreciated having hygienic mineral water, though I would have liked the option of dining at a restaurant. The muffins were cheap-tasting.
