We went to Nogarkot and were not lucky enough to see the peaks of the Himalayas. However, our guide Bikram took us to the hanging bridge which was a very nice surprise. We then visited Bhaktapur, which is more impressive than what you see in Katmandu. Bikram was kind and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions about life in Nepal, the country’s history and most importantly Hinduism. I highly recommend him along with the driver Krishna,. The car that we had for the trip was very good too.

Our trip to Bhaktapur and Nagarkot was truly unforgettable and exceeded all expectations. Bhaktapur is an absolute gem, rich in culture, history, and stunning architecture. Walking through its ancient streets felt like stepping back in time, with beautifully preserved temples, intricate wood carvings, and vibrant local life all around. Nagarkot, on the other hand, offered a completely different but equally breathtaking experience. The views of the Himalayas were simply spectacular, especially during sunrise. He was outstanding in every way—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He shared fascinating insights about the history, culture, and traditions of the places we visited, making everything come alive in a meaningful way. Great tour that took me out of the city up in the mountains. Loved seeing those wheat fields and other crops growing in terraces. Sajan was my tour guide and he is a wealth of knowledge. From the top of the hill the views were amazing. Then he took me to a suspension bridge, that was fun. 250 meters long between the mountains, trees and a river flowing under. That was cool and finished at bhaktapur are with their beautiful temples and palaces. Highly recommended.
