Le bidonville de Kisenyi est l'un des six villages très congestionnés au milieu de la ville de Kampala! Il est généralement connu comme le foyer de nombreux réfugiés de différents pays comme la Somalie, la République démocratique du Congo, l'Éthiopie et le Soudan du Sud. C’est une zone très animée et cela donne une expérience très vivante à nos clients car ils sont capables de se promener dans le village tout en encourageant des gens charmants ici qui se trouvent occupés dans leur travail.
C’est un marché local important qui emploie plus de 2 000 vendeurs de biens d’occasion, tels que vêtements, chaussures, etc. C’est une révélation pour nos clients.
C’est le plus grand parc fiscal d’Ouganda où la plupart des taxis publics de Kampala récupèrent et déposent leurs clients. Ces taxis prennent des directions différentes. C’est donc très étonnant de visiter et de découvrir comment les voyageurs identifient leurs taxis respectifs en prenant leur direction respective.
Il s'agit d'un bâtiment sans métal sans rien comme un métal, il aurait été construit en utilisant uniquement du béton, ce qui le rend totalement unique par rapport à d'autres bâtiments en Ouganda. Par conséquent, notre client pourra faire une visite de 20 minutes ici et prendre des photos à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. C'est tellement révélateur surtout pour ceux qui ne sont jamais allés au temple hindou auparavant.
Il s’agit essentiellement d’un marché de produits alimentaires et de fruits où la plupart des gens vont faire les magasins! Ici, les voyageurs pourront voir une variété de plats locaux ougandais qui sont rassemblés dans des régions éloignées de l'Ouganda et apportés ici pour la vente.
Les voyageurs auront le temps de prendre des photos avec la statue du monument de l'indépendance et le guide expliquera une histoire liée au monument.

This was good exercise mixed with exciting stops on the road and a super good way to mark Kampala at the same time. The guide, Kakembo Sudais, made sure we got a lot to know about the places we stopped at and the areas we came through. To his great praise it must also be said that the pace was completely perfect - not so slow that we became impatient but at the same time neither too fast so there was time to take it all into. Really a fantastic trip and you experience in hours what you alone would spend days on - if you would even find all the places on the trip.

Fantastic tour from start to finish! You get a bit of everything: incredible 360-degree views from the top of the Gaddafi National Mosque, the bustling and vibrant energy of Kisenyi and Owino Market, and a fascinating look at the Old Taxi Park. Finishing up with the colorful sights of Nakasero Market and a history lesson at the Independence Monument wrapped up the day perfectly. Highly recommend this tour if you want an authentic, safe, and deeply informative walking experience in the city!

This was a great tour of all parts of Kampala. We visited wealthy neighborhoods, shopping districts, and slums. The city's contrasts were truly striking. I especially enjoyed visiting the food market, where I bought some fruit and spices. The mosque is also a landmark. You can climb the minaret for a stunning 360-degree view. The guide was very knowledgeable and had a good understanding of the area. I highly recommend it.

Went on a guided tour together with my classmates - was lovely :) defo wouldn’t have been able to navigate the chaotic city centre without a tourguide haha. Had a tourguide about the same age as me and my classmates, she was the sweetest and Nasser was contagiously energetic and funny.

Am Nasser collected us on time and took us on a very informative and interesting trip around Kampala. We started at the mosque and then walked through different areas of town. He combined this with lots of interesting information about life in Uganda historically and in the present. We had local food and then he walked us back to the start.
