Kimo San was perfectly nice and took us to all the expected sites. His English understanding was not very good which made it difficult to ask questions and have conversation. He was unable to answer basic history questions beyond those he prepared. We saw everything we wanted to see and from that perspective the day was very good.
Our tour guide was very helpful and made sure we were altogether. He was very considerate and knowledgeable of Japanese history. Everyone in our group enjoyed the tour. Although it was very hot we had a good time.
Our guide, Akira, was very friendly, knowledgeable and he spoke very good English. He gave us detailed information at all points of interest. Thank you Akira!
We loved this tour! Our guide Kono-San was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw all the places we wanted to see without feeling rushed. He helped us navigate the public transportation to/from Tokyo and within Kamakura. We had some extra-memorable experiences thanks to Kono-San that we would not have otherwise - conveyor belt sushi lunch, feeding the koi, and many more. And he took some very nice pictures of us at the sites. Thank you Kono-San!!
Had a great time in Kamakura led by Kono-san. He taught us some interesting histor yand made our visit memorable. We fully recommend the experience.
This day trip to Kamakura was AMAZING! Yes, it rained all day (really it was just misty all day - not a downpour) but our private guide Kono-san made it worth our while. He was so patient and knowledgeable, we were lucky to have him. We would definitely recommend this tour…but you better be ready to walk!
Julie-san, Thank you so much for the great comments. I am happy that you enjoyed the tour. And also thank you for your cooperation in walking a lot in spite of the rain. Have you enjoyed Mt. Fuji, Kyoto and the rest of your say in Japan? Best regards, Kono
Noby Kono provided an excellent tour and accommodated every request we had. Highly recommend this tour for all things to see around Kamakura and the pics Noby sent were the best photos taken all day from anyone on our group!
Jessica-san, Thank you so much for the great comment. I am happy you enjoyed the tour. Thank you for your cooperation in walking a lot despite being tired. Was the Yakiniku delicious? Did you enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan? Best regards, Kono
Kamakura was breathing and was well worth the trip! We saw and experienced so much in very little time. Kono San was an amazing tour guide! I felt immersed in the Japanese culture. I learned all about the sacred rituals and history of Japan. The gardens, shrines, and temples were so beautiful!
Angela-san, Thank you so much for the great comment. I am happy you enjoyed the tour. Please enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan. Best regards, Kono
Wow, spectacular to see such large bamboo trees. Having seen a great deal of bamboo in my travels, this forest was peaceful.
Thank you for joining our tour! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the day. We hope you have a wonderful stay in Japan
Our guide Akira was fabulous...experienced, organized, friendly and we were so grateful to have him as our guide. We saw so many wonderful sights that would not be possible without him.
I am surprised at such an excellent review from my guests. The staying time at Kamakura was limited because the departure time at Yokohama Port was fixed. So, I tried to make staying time at each spots (5 spots in total) a bit shortened with key comment. My guests Mr.&Mrs. Rogers are strong walkers so that we could visit key sightseeing spots. Thank you for visiting Japan.
