We signed up for the Dead Sea relaxation trip, hoping to spend the day but the beach and having a relaxing day. We were put in the bus that also was going to Masada but where assured it’s fine, they’ll drop you at the Dead Sea while they go to Masada and they’ll come pick you up when they bring the rest of the bus to the Dead Sea. This did not happen, instead we stopped at their shopping excursion and then Masada and then a bad cafeteria lunch after which finally we got 45 minutes at the end of the day. We were not prepared to spend most of our day on top of a plateau in the desert, nor was it the trip we signed up for. I would not recommend this company so you’ll probably get pushed from one tourist trap to another. The guide was pretty irritating and literally came by at the end asking for tips with his hat. What a waste of a day.
Dear Missy most disturbing to read what you report. Why woyld tge guide not have dropped you off at the Dead Sea shore.if you say you were informed he would. Were you asked if you were interested in visiting Massada too,an option that does, exist! Massada is NO tourist trap. Lunch at the shore resort is indeed numerous, shops and snackbars etc.None of which you are coersced in to purchasing. hopefully you will write an email.to customer service so your can be investigated more fully and the guide held accountable, for what you write.
I decided to make a little change in my tour, because a read that you don’t need more than two hours in Dead Sea. So, Dan Porges was very helpful and very kind, and let me took the tour to Masada too. And it was amazing. No just because the Beauty of the landscape, but also because Dan is an excellent guide, very patient, knows a lot of history and made the tour so funny.

Dear Cecila We are happy to read of you sharing your satisfaction with the tour to the Dead Sea. Pity no mention of your guide's name to get the recognition for their efforts. Glad it was an enjoyable and fun tour experience for you.
The tour was amazing: I actually floated on the Dead Sea. We stopped by the beach and changed clothes in the locker room. We bought special shoes so we can walk on the rocky beach. We got out into the water. It was muddy, but it was fun. We got into the water and walked out into the deep of the sea. By the time the water got to our chest, we were able to float without leaning on anything. I tried to swim, ut the water was so think with salt that I could barely move around. After struggling for a while, I was able to swim and float and then float and swim. I have always heard of people floating on the Dead Sea, but now I have done it myself. Great tour for anyone.

My tour guide was amazing! He was very informative about the history of Israel as we made our way to the Dead Sea. He was kind and answered all of my questions with a plethora of knowledge!
Dear mrf2765, Thanks for sharing a rave 5 star review of your day with Bein Harim. We are so glad to read you came away with a memorable and enlightening tour experience (pity, the guide's name is not mentioned). Hope to see you again traveling with us! Sincerely, Bein Harim Tourism Services team
One of the best tours we had in Israel . Thanx Yoav for sharing your immense knowledge and for your super hospitality & sense of humor . You made our day into a joyous one . Masada was like a visit into the past with the time line which I loved the most . I am a history buff so was important to understand a little about the area and King Herod . Thanx once again for an enlightening day .
We thank you for this rave review of your tour guided by Yoav. He is a real pro, and worthy of such praise and fedback. You visited a unique region in our country and we are so proud you came away with an Unforfettable experience, and enlightened especially about ancient history. Look forward to seeing you again.
Do not use this company. First off we were picked up at the hotel and drove around the city for 1.5 hours picking up other people. The tour guide was rude and disrespectful We were taken to the wrong beach, the place which was supposed to be a spa was filthy and disgusting. The food was inedible. The tour guide abandoned the bus with 15 guests aboard on the way home when there were road blocks to re enter Jerusalem due to a demonstration. Do not use this tour company’!
Dear customer, I have read your review carefully and I can only regret the fact you didn't contact us prior posting your review so we can conduct a clarification of the matter and if necessary, compensate you accordingly. I have to say I am quite shocked from what you wrote in your review. This behavior is intolerable and something we would like to investigate further. Know that, your experience does not represent our usual level of service at all! However, I want to address the point you raise here- In a group tour the same as the one you booked, the pickup time are flexible and can be affected by traffic and number of participants. Our system is based to efficiently avoid traffic delays and prolonged bus rides for tourists once collected. Thus we divide our pick up and drop off routes. The pick-up is not part of the tour, we consider the time the pick-up takes in addition to the time the tour itself should take. Furthermore, the pickup and drop off service is complimentary, and one has the choice whether to use it or meet us in the meeting point at time of departure. In the past year many sinkholes discovered around the Dead-Sea area led to changes in access routes to the main beaches. As a result, our clients enjoy the comfortable Ein-Gedi beach, for all the facilities it has to offer. However, when the roads to Ein Gedi beach are blocked, we divert our clients to other beaches accordingly. I am sorry it didn't match your expectations. Know that we value your input as we continue to strive to provide quality service that meets client expectation. I hope that we will have the privilege to guide you again in Israel and rectify any disservice. Sincerely, Shelly Yaron Marketing Manager Bein Harim

Wonderful, Masada very interesting I was worried my 80 yr old mother wouldn't be able to climb up but the guide was very considerate and she really enjoyed it. The dead sea is something I am glad I have experienced.

Nothing special. It is not a spa; just a day at the beach. No one is available to assist. Just a place to buy souvenirs.
