We booked with Valencia tour company which was recommended by my cousin. We had Mariela for our tour guide and Speedy and Eddy for our drivers over 4 days. It was a wonderful experience for my family. Mariela was very attentive to all our requests. Her restaurant recommendations were brilliant. She is very knowledgeable and she helped me on the hikes by holding my hands and encouraged me to continue. I may not have completed the hikes without her support. We would highly recommend Valencia Tours and specifically Mariela She is a very knowledgeable Spanish and English language guide, who taught us a lot about the Inca culture and indigenous plants.

We have been on a Trip A Deal Ultimate South American tour that had Valencia Travel undertake the Peru section. We had Juan Collado collect us from the airport as our guide for the next 12 days he was fantastic & so professional looking after all 20 of us whilst on our tour. We have just completed a 12 day tour of Peru with Rolly Carrasco. Rolly showed us the highlights through his love and passion for his country and its history. We saw the history of the Incas, the impact of the Conquistadors and the Peru of today. We trekked some of the Amazon, we climbed Machu Picchu and we ate Peruvian food. Through all of this Rolly called us his family and he looked after us like family. Nothing was too much. Thank you Rolly. My husband and me did the whole day private tour of Sacred Valley , Ollantaytambo, with wearing experience and visit to silver factory store. We were very lucky to have Rene Fernando as our guide. Rene is very informative, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Thanks to Rene we learned a lot about impressive Inca’s history and culture. We are very grateful to Rene for his time, energy and enthusiasm and would highly recommend him as a guide.

The guide, Mariela, very good. She explained everything in detail and was always attentive to expand on any topic and to help in any way necessary. He gave us very good recommendations to eat.

We covered so many incredible places in a single day; it was fantastic! Oscar was my guide and Ronald was my driver and they were both absolutely incredible at making sure we went to the places I wanted to go and see the things I wanted to see. They also gave me options and were happy to make tweaks to the itinerary based on my preferences. Oscar was also highly knowledgeable on all the sites we went to and taught me a lot. I highly, highly recommend!

This tour of the sacred valley far exceeded my expectations. First of all, I wasn’t expecting for it to be a private tour, so that was a pleasant surprise. Our guide, Edward was an excellent communicator and I appreciated that he reached out to inform me he’d be a few minutes late due to traffic. It’s a small detail but it just shows the commitment to clear communication. The tours of the sites were fantastic, with Edward providing great info but also being open to questions. He was very proactive about keeping the activities accessible to my mobility-restricted mother. We loved the visit to the textiles store, where we learned so much about how local textiles are made. Our driver, Edwin, was a fantastic driver…he kept moving to get us to places quickly, but did it in a manner in which we felt safe, including driving through switchbacks. The process of booking was also perfect, with actual humans answering the phone and directing you to a specialized person providing what I thought was a very reasonable price, considering how last minute we booked. I was genuinely impressed with the professionalized operation of Valencia Travel and plan to use them again when visiting Cusco.
