À une heure de Bordeaux, partez à la découverte de la cité médiévale de Saint-Émilion, entourée de 5 500 hectares de vignobles, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 1999 ! Départ à 9 h 45 de l'Office de Tourisme de Bordeaux. Visite d'un château Grand Cru Classé avec dégustation de deux vins. Profitez d'une terrasse panoramique avec vue imprenable sur les vignobles. Promenez-vous à votre rythme dans le village classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, à la découverte de cloîtres, chapelles et places cachées. Prenez le temps de déjeuner comme vous le souhaitez. L’après-midi, profitez d’une visite souterraine exclusive, dévoilant le patrimoine calcaire de Saint-Émilion et la plus grande église médiévale monolithique d’Europe. Terminez par une dégustation de trois vins au Château Champion et partagez un moment convivial avec son vigneron passionné. Retour à Bordeaux à 17 h 15 avec des souvenirs inoubliables !

Les monuments souterrains de Saint-Émilion comprennent un vaste réseau de grottes, de catacombes et l'impressionnante église monolithique, creusée directement dans la roche calcaire. Ces trésors cachés révèlent le riche patrimoine religieux et historique de la ville, datant du VIIIe siècle.

The only tour that included the underground church. It was nice to learn about winemaking and how to taste wines. I was surprised how much the taste can change just because of the soil. The underground church was spectacular!!

It was a bad experience cos almost 90% of participants on the tour were French speaking! No doubt the tour guide would give more info in French! It was grossly unfair!

I booked a trip to Saint-Émilion nearby Bordeaux. The trip itself was well planned, but the guide was not very considerate and did not pay much attention to each individual. There was a lack of communication for those who could not understand French, and the introduction to the two selected châteaux was a bit dull. Overall, it was acceptable if you just want an easy way to travel without driving yourself.
We visited two Grand Cru Classe wineries, one offered tasty wines with lunch. A relaxing afternoon at St Emillion old town and we were given ample time to walk around. A nice day to explore this UNSECO town.
Chateaux personnel were informative. Choice of venues contrasted modern winemaking techniques with older traditional techniques. Exclusive access to Historical St. Emillon which itself has become quite touristy. Very disappointing tour guide. Our tour consisted of 7/8 English speaking guests and 1/8 French speakers (whom were bilingual) but the guide spoke mainly French throughout the trip with short cursory explanations of what she had spoken.

This trip was amazing! Beautiful views, gorgeous little village and delicious wine! Laurence, was faboulous! Very knowledgable and funny! She made the trip very interesting. This trip is "must do" when you're visiting Bordeaux! You will not regret it!
Sold as small group and English the group size was more than 15 and in 2 languages meaning we were staning on our feet twice as long. At least twice we just stood in same place for over 1.2 hrs. My feet were aching and this left less free time to explore. The winery lunch was tasty.
Really interesting day!! The two castles visited very beautiful and welcoming people. The guide gave us a lot of information, especially when we visited the village of Saint Émilion. It was a great experience!
