Nous traversons le parc national de Tijuca, l'une des plus grandes forêts urbaines du monde et qui abrite de nombreuses attractions, dont l'emblématique statue du Christ Rédempteur, située dans ses limites.

Tout en haut, on accède en montant un escalier pour arriver à l'emblématique statue du Christ Rédempteur. La vue, de ce point de vue, avec la forêt nationale environnante de Tijuca qui s'étend en contrebas et un cercle de montagnes fermant l'horizon tout au fond de la baie de Guanabara est vraiment spectaculaire. Après un peu de temps pour nous promener et prendre des photos, nous faisons le chemin du retour.

I did a full-day city tour in Rio with them and it was outstanding from start to finish. Our guide, Gustavo, was honestly one of the best guides I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, super organized, and clearly passionate about the city and its history. We started the day at Christ the Redeemer in the morning, where he gave us a clear briefing on the full-day itinerary and shared lots of interesting context. On the way back, we stopped by Maracanã Stadium and he kept pointing out great vantage points to see and photograph the arena. We then visited the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Selarón Steps, with Gustavo weaving in historical facts and local stories that really brought each stop to life. Lunch was a nice buffet, and in the afternoon we headed to Sugarloaf Mountain, where we had the flexibility to either end the tour there or return with the group to our base hotel. Communication throughout the day was smooth and professional, with timely WhatsApp updates and very punctual pickups and transfers. Overall, this was a full-day experience and it was totally worth it. The combination of a well-planned itinerary, great organization, and an exceptional guide like Gustavo made it a fantastic way to experience Rio’s highlights. Highly recommended.

Gustavo was fantastic host. He has in depth knowledge of Rio history, he is very engaging in narrating stories making it fun for us to listen.
