Après un bref arrêt dans l’un des restaurants, continuez vers le lointain Koh Ker. Koh Ker est le nom moderne d'une ville importante de l'empire khmer. Puis visite Beng Mealea, identique à Angkor Wat, mais de taille plus petite.

Découvrez et explorez le complexe controversé du temple de Preah Vihear. Preah Vihear est un ancien temple hindou construit pendant la période de l'empire khmer, situé au sommet d'une falaise de 525 mètres dans les montagnes Dângrêk. Preah Vihear est à la frontière avec la Thaïlande et a fait l'objet de plusieurs conflits de propriété. Puis après un bref arrêt dans l'un des restaurants pour un curry traditionnel cambodgien, des soupes ou des sautés, continuez vers la lointaine Koh Ker. Koh Ker est le nom moderne d'une ville importante de l'empire khmer. Dans les inscriptions, la ville est mentionnée comme Lingapura (ville des lingams). La structure la plus impressionnante du complexe est le Prasat Thom/Prang, un double sanctuaire qui suit un plan linéaire et non concentrique comme la plupart des temples des rois khmers. Sans précédent est la pyramide à sept niveaux de 36 mètres de haut, qui a très probablement servi de temple d'État. Puis visite de Beng Mealea, identique à Angkor Vat, mais de plus petite taille.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Beng Mealea and Koh Ker today. The information and insights given by our guide Mr Sok Phally, were interesting and informative and he was ready and willing to answer any questions that we had. Sayoeun was an excellent tour guide! At each of the three temples he walked us through the history and construction of the sites. Throughout the day he also explained some of the agriculture practices and customs of the people in Cambodia making the long drives more interesting. Entrance to the parks is not included so make sure to buy the Koh Ker Pass and Angkor Wat pass online. The Preah Vihear pass we bought at the gate, maybe in the future it'll be online. Tips are encouraged at the end of the tour for the service of the driver and guide.

It was really nice experience The guide has the deep knowledge about the Khmer culture and history and of course for the temples itself Also the driver were so kinds that he provides me the water and refresher sheet every time I went back to the car. I could understand well about the history of Hindu through this tour. Although the price is bit expensive compared to hiring the driver only But worth paying if you have curious about the Khmer culture and history.
