The tour was great! Alvaro and Felix were great guides that were also very attentive to us throughout the trip. The hotel pick up and drop off were easy. The trip to Huacachina wasn’t bad since we had a couple of stops along the way. Huacachina and activities were AMAZING! We had so much fun on the buggies and sandboarding with Jhonny. The trip back is a bit long, but worth the trip. I previously read a review that was helpful to me prior to the trip: Stop 1 - Breakfast (not incl.) Stop 2 - Paracas around 9am for boat ride around Ballestos Island (90 mins) + walking around Paracas until around 11am Stop 3 - Ica at El Huarango around 12:30pm for Piscos + wine (incl.) + lunch (not incl.; about $20 a person, 65/s) Stop 4 - Huacachina around 3pm + sand buggies + sandboarding Around 4:30pm, long ride back to Lima (about 5 hours) - one stop at gas station around 7:30pm for snacks/bathroom Drop-Off around 9:45pm-10pm Highly recommend booking this tour! We had a blast and can’t stop talking about it. I’d only recommend the company to keep the A/C on because we got a little warm for such a long trip. But once again, our guides were great!
The whole experience was amazing. The dunes in Huacachina are an out of this world experience! My 8yo and 6 yo did great (they are very adventurous and enjoy thrilling experiences!)
As advertised this is a very long tour. As more than half the time is spent on the coach, it was poor that the A/C was not put on when requested and that there was no lighting for most of the trip. It was also darker because of the front being screened off which also meant you couldn’t see where you were going. On a positive note the seats were extremely comfortable The 2 main activities were well managed and good
Beautiful place . Angela was excellent.
A somewhat long tour but worth it; everything matches the description, in Paracas it is exciting to see penguins, and upon arriving at the Huacachina desert, you feel all the adrenaline with the buggies.
Extremely recommended; the guide Moisés was very kind and explained everything. The trip went very well; the transportation was a bit uncomfortable due to the travel time, but it did not affect everything else, which was luxurious. Thanks to Sergio from the Buggies and also to Lucia who helped us organize. 100% recommended.
An all day event that will surely tire you out! Be prepared for a long journey in the bus. There are stops along the way, but we started at 5AM and ended at 10PM. If you book this event, I would recommend making sure you get a good sleep the night before and you are not doing anything too hectic the next day because it does take a lot out of you. The places we visited were pretty incredible! It really felt like each area was its own separate unit or island. There isn’t really much time during your stops to “shop” around so don’t expect to be able to purchase souvenirs at this time! They run a pretty strict schedule! Alvaro, our guide, was friendly and very clear with instructions. I would recommend this trip as it was lots of fun! If you get sea sick/motion sick, bring Dramamine! The ATV riding is very intense, tread carefully if it’s not typically your cup of tea. Wear sunscreen and a hat! Bring a bandana to cover your face and shades to protect your eyes from the sand.
The day was quite fun and complete of different activities, recommended if you want to see different landscapes during your stay in Lima! That said, the website says maximum 15 people and I was with a big bus with 27 people. I even asked the agency to confirm and I was told it was max 15 (that to me is false advertising, twice!). The day was still fun, but I like to receive what I pay for! Quite disappointed in this regards
Excellent experience. My guide, Alvaro was accurate, friendly, and a lot of wisdom along the way. Super recommended!
What an amazing day! The stops were well organized and the clear instructions we were given before and during the tour were perfect. We were always able to leave our things safely on the bus at any stops and the bus had great working AC!
