Fantastic tour guide, Kata and driver, Aaron. Kata's passion for her country shines through in her job as tour guide, she was brilliant however the tour stops I found a little boring. The walk around San Antonio was mundane with nothing really worth seeing. The ranch was nice but nothing much to see or do. The horse ride was enjoyable but the Goucho's made no effort to converse with us or even offer to take photos. The food was great and there was plenty of it but lunch took quite a long time. The dancing was simple and it was fun that we were all able to join in. I feel this could've been offered as a half day tour rather than a full day tour.
The driver was so slow. Drove 20km under the speed limit. Doesn't know how to drive on a dirt road. We visited a town for a walk just to fill in time. Was a waste. The ranch was just like any farm in Australia. The horse riding was one horse following the other in a very slow walk. The groucho's helping with the horses were not friendly or helpful at all. It was like they didn't want to be there. Lunch was lovely if you love meat. The dancing was basic. The best part of the day was the horse whispering which lasted 5min.
The overall experience was amazing. To connect with nature and to do so with a guide who was knowledgable, a place that felt like home, and with a small group that made it comfortable; made the experience enjoyable.
Deborah was great. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The estancia was beautiful and the staff was friendly and professional as well. Horses were awesome and the food was amazing. The lingering dogs everywhere wanting to be pet was pretty cool too.
My wife and I came to visit Argentina for the first time, deciding to stay in Buenos Aires for a short vacation. The trip didn’t take that much planning, we made hotel reservations and booked our flights the week prior. Once we arrive in Buenos Aires we planned some sight seeing, my wife setting up all the tours (all credits to her), one of the options was a visit to the country side. We went to a ranch called Las Doñas on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, and our tour guide was Debra Yurovsky. Debra was exceptional and very professional, and was able to switch between English and Spanish very fluently. We highly recommend her for any tour guide needs in Argentina. The ranch experience was AWESOME, the food was home made and full of flavor and love. The horseback riding was a great experience as well, and well supplemented by the horse whisperer, just amazing. We enjoyed the folkloric dances and Angie the owner made us feel at home. I couldn’t write this without thanking our driver too, such a great gentleman. Also, thanks to our tour mates from Idaho and Los Angeles. All in all, we fell in love with Buenos Aires and would love to come back again. Thank you, Debra. Alex & Tiffany
Exception tour! We loved our trip to the farm and learning about the Gaucho culture. The people were very friendly and accommodating and our tour guide , Debra was very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a 10/10 experience.
A long day but such fun. Picked up a Gaucho on the side of the road 😂, who came with us. Food was plentiful, horse riding was fun and the Gaucho horse whisperer was amazing.
We had a wonderful time. Emilia was our guide, and very hospitable and educated us with history, culture and people of the country and Gaucho which was very informative and made the trip more enjoyable. She was so sweet and always smiling. Everyone at the Ranch loved her as well. Diego, the driver, make sure that our ride was comfortable and drove safe. The ranch we visited, El Omni de Areco, is the family own and working farm. Everybody was friendly and helpful. Estate was very nice, we enjoyed the horseback riding, great food prepared with freshest ingredients and meat, cooked to perfection, and served by friendly staff. Enjoyed the folk songs, dancing with everyone, and also witnessing the Horse Whispering. What a memorable visit it was. I would love to do it again. Thank you for organizing the wonderful trip.
Marcelo is as fantastico!!! Would recommend.
a must do when visiting argentina/buenos aires. great food, guide, and fun! plus a lot of friendly animals at the ranch.
