Description
Lors de notre safari animalier tout compris, vous aurez la possibilité de chercher les Big 5, ceux-ci étant : lions, buffles, éléphants, rhinocéros et léopards. Gardez un oeil sur de nombreux autres animaux tels que les girafes, les hippopotames ainsi que les guépards. Vous serez transféré à la réserve de chasse dans un Véhicule privé, avec un Guide touristique accrédité qualifié, mais lorsque vous atteignez la réserve de chasse, vous rejoindrez d'autres personnes dans un camion Safari ouvert en 4x4.

Préparez-vous à une prise en charge tôt le matin à 6h30 à votre hébergement au Cap pendant que nous prenons une route panoramique de 2 heures, en longeant la route nationale N1 jusqu'à Aquila Game Reserve. Nous passerons devant des plantations de vignobles pittoresques et vous pourrez même vous arrêter pour une dégustation de vin sur le chemin du retour.
À notre arrivée à Aquila Game Reserve, les clients recevront un verre de bienvenue et seront conduits au restaurant pour un petit-déjeuner buffet complet (options halal et végétariennes disponibles). Après le petit-déjeuner, nous partons pour un safari partagé de 2 à 3 heures. Le safari est dirigé par un garde-chasse expérimenté qui partagera des histoires et des faits passionnants sur la réserve et les animaux, en indiquant les animaux en vue. Après notre safari africain dans la brousse, les clients retourneront au restaurant pour un déjeuner buffet complet (options halal et végétariennes disponibles). Après le déjeuner, vous êtes invités à vous détendre sur la terrasse ; détendez-vous au bord de la piscine ou prenez un verre au bar.
Sur le chemin du retour au Cap, profitez d'une dégustation gratuite de fromages et de vins au domaine Fairview Wine and Cheese.
Le dépôt se fera à votre hébergement vers 18h00.

This was easily already the highlight of our trip; we’re in Cape Town for just over 2 weeks, we’re a few days in. The transfer to and from the reserve were so easy, Gift, our tour guide operator was super responsive on WhatsApp throughout. When we arrived at Aquila, we were given a welcome drink and told what time lunch and the bus for the safari were, very friendly staff at every interaction. The actual safari was breathtaking; even though I understand it isn’t an ‘authentic’ safari like in the Serengeti etc, it showcases the animals in a conserved environment, safe from poachers etc. We saw 4/5 of the big 5, which was absolutely amazing, our safari bus driver was so knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend for anyone visiting Cape Town!

The day long tour was excellent which was made 10X better by the tour guide,Issac who went out his way to give us great historical context about every location and sight that we saw. He was very patient and knowledgable in answering all our questions. He provided even off track experience and made us feel like a local and not a tourist. Thanks to him, I am beginning to think like and love Cape Town and South Africa the more....I am definitely coming back again to continue my learning journey.

Gordon was an exceptional tour guide and driver. On our drive to and from our safari, he conversed well with our entire family, providing us with insightful details about Cape Town and South Africa. Sadly it was an ok game park, but when it came to the big five promotion it was a bit of a let down. Lots of Rhino, but I believe it was only 3 elephants and the Lions were also few in numbers. The whole experience was rushed, when someone shouted they spotted something it was ignored they had to stick to the plan. Animals are well looked after.

Disappointed to see some animals here and there, obviously nor in their natural habitat. Some of them looking lost and bored.Didn't get to see leperds among the big five.

While it offers exciting Big 5 safaris and close wildlife encounters, the animals are kept in a well-maintained reserve rather than their natural wild habitats in the expansive national parks. We understand that wild animal sightings can be unpredictable, and some animals may appear less active during certain times. We always recommend our guests to manage expectations regarding wildlife behavior and sightings, especially in private reserves with smaller areas compared to wild national parks. We appreciate your feedback and hope your overall experience in South Africa was still memorable. For a more extensive safari experience in a truly wild setting, we’re happy to assist with options in national parks like Kruger.
