Commencez votre excursion d'une journée à Udaipur par une prise en charge à votre hôtel situé au centre ou à tout autre endroit souhaité à Jodhpur ou à la gare de Jodhpur Junction. Choisissez parmi plusieurs heures de départ (conseiller au moment de la réservation) en fonction de votre emploi du temps. Sur le chemin d'Udaipur, le premier arrêt au complexe des temples Ranakpur Jain dans la chaîne Aravalli étourdit le visiteur avec ses sculptures complexes et sa beauté exquise. Découvrez l'histoire de ce temple du XVe siècle et son architecture unique, notamment ses nombreux piliers. Découvrez la grande colonie de singes qui habitent le temple et ses environs. Ensuite, vous visiterez le fort de Kumbhalgarh, un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Profitez de la vue magnifique et découvrez l'histoire du fort.
L'un des lieux célèbres et sacrés des jaïns. Le temple est situé au cœur de la ville et est une merveille architecturale. La structure est vraiment énorme et s'étend sur plusieurs étages. Le temple abrite plus de 400 piliers, tous magnifiquement gravés. L'endroit est vraiment paisible et donne sûrement une grande sensation de sainteté. Pendant que vous êtes ici, ne manquez pas la soirée Aarti. Vous pouvez vous faire une bonne idée de l'histoire du temple et du lieu auprès de la famille de prêtres qui gère le temple.
Le fort de Kumbhalgarh est à environ 3 heures de route d'Udaipur. C'est une forteresse mewar construite par Rana Sangha au 15ème siècle. Ce fort est un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Le point culminant du fort est un mur d'enceinte de 36 km de long, qui est le deuxième mur le plus long après le mur de Chine. Les autres monuments du fort comprennent le temple de Ganesh et le temple jaïn.
Après votre visite d'une journée, continuez vers Udaipur et, une fois arrivé, votre chauffeur vous déposera à votre hôtel à Udaipur.

To visit the temple of Ranakpur that is definitely worth a visit, we chose to drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur. It’s a lot of road but the vehicle is of good quality and our driver’s drive was very smooth.

I went Udaipur to Jodhpur. Driver was great and temple wss beautiful. They will pick you up at Chandpole parking lot in Udaipur as it is a mess in the old city traffic wise and cars cannot fit.

We signed up for this day tour as a convenient way to travel from Jodhpur to Udaipur, but it turned out to the one of the highlights of our trip! Bittu the driver, was great and also made a nice lunch stop along the way. Both the temple and fort are spectacular. Overall a wonderful trip! Following the advice of another review, we requested a pick-up at 9am from Jodhpur and we got to the Jain temple right after it opened at 12

I wanted to get from Jodhpurto Udaipur with a stop to visit Ranakpur. Bittu from Udaipur, Rajasthan was my driver for the day. He drove very well, speaks good English and made my day very enjoyable. As a solo traveller I felt very safe all day.

Jodhpur to Udaipur private Daytrip with Bhagwat Singh.
